    Could you please share the rice to water/broth ratio? one and a half cup rice is a lil hard to guage

    Tried it and it was awesome
    The recipe video was quick and to the point.
    Instead of the dry masala that u prepared, i used garam masala and still turned out to be great. Thanks!

    I liked the easy and quick process.
    The spice in the pulao is only from the green chili paste from the beginning and a few green chili at the end, right?

      The pulao masala makes it a bit spicy.. so watch before you put anything extra for spicyness.

      Glad you enjoyed, yes that happens sometimes if the meat is young so it cooks and becomes tender faster

    My basmati rice just isn’t cooking. I added some water to the stock as the ratio wasn’t enough for my rice. Maybe it depends on different quality of rice. Also mine took 20 mins to cook the rice on slow flame but it tasted yummy

    So, does adding chili powder and lemon to Yakhni Pulao make it a biryani? Because that's the only thing not included in this recipe. Am I right or wrong? Please, can someone correct me?

    Hey somehow whenever I add curd to my curries or rice, it curdles. Any tips?

      This will split too but just let it dry off, To prevent yogurt from splitting in curries, use fresh, full-fat yogurt and beat it well before adding. Gradually mix in hot curry to temper it, then cook on low heat, stirring continuously. Adding a bit of besan or cornstarch can also help stabilize it. Avoid boiling the curry after adding yogurt.

      You can use the measuring cup we get for baking. I tried it with that today and it was perfect!
