- Hello!
This is my 1968 Hammond B-3 organ with two Leslie 122 speakers. I hope you like the song and especially sound of my red-cap B-3. Feel free to comment, even though this video was taken some 5 yrs ago. I really appreciate all your comments, maybe I'll post another B-3 vid some day! - Hudba
My goodness. It never ceases to amaze me at how these organ players can pump that base line and accompany themselves playing solo's and melodies. It's stunning to me. Very fine performer in this video and its obvious he has worked very hard at creating such a great sound. More videos please.
I always think anyone who can play the foot pedals so slick as well as two manuals all at the same time... has two brains.
Okay... someone needs to find out if this guy is still alive, because nobody just posts 1 video of playing like this
We need proof you’re still with us bro, post a vid🖤
Man...You got some chops dude....Im a drummer and man, its been so long since I heard a groove like you played. Back in the day, it was a riot to work with a B3 and a cat who could make it talk.
Thanks for posting ...sure brought back some great memories.
The FOOT WORK holy god
The B3 Leslie will always have a special place in rock's heart. It was designed for gospel and it never occurred to the designers it might be the coolest sound for that Rock 'n Roll thing...
Amazing footwork on the base pedals. Excellente!
This guy is absolutely awesome!
Thanks for your comment. There is no name for this song, this is just an improvisation that is based on the music by Jimmy Smith, Groove Holmes and Joey DeFrancesco.
This might have been posted 11 years ago but it must be much older than that. That's some Liberachi skills there. Very rare skills nowadays and even 10 years ago it would have still been rare. I would pay concert money to see this guy play a 1 hour set
with feet like yours who needs a frigging bass player? well done son.
That's the best sounding Hammond I've ever heard...and you're rocking it hard. That opening note sequence had my jaw on the floor as soon as that sound hit my ears. Sounds gorgeous. :)
You ROCK! Brother.
Damn nice playing.
Thanks.
Don
Amazing. Any time I am feeling like I need a pick me up I listen to this. Pure skill. Thank you for sharing.

The coordination it takes! Well done!
Cool instrument and awesome player! Playing three voices this fast at once is absolutely badass.

You're great...I could listen all day. Thanks for sharing!
Wow this is outstanding!
Nothing beats a B3 with a Leslie122. The tonality can not be matched. Of course one needs the talent to make it work. I worked with an artist in a recording studio
years ago. I swear he made that Leslie walk across the floor. I checked later. It was still there. You got it... The best I have heard in years. Thank you
@bluv6 Thanks for nice words! This jazz organ thing is just a hobby for me, I 'm studying economics in Finland.
GORGEOUS...I can't wait to hear the stereo-recorded version. LOVE this.

Although before my time, I grew up with the great Jimmy Smith and the B3 sounds ringing in my ears.

OMG...you are amazing..i watched and listened to your clip perhaps a dozen time this morning...absolutely made my day! after 2 years of looking two weeks ago i found and immediately bought the most pristine..perfect condition 1964 C-3 with a 22H Leslie from the estate of the original owner who had it in her living room since she bought it...it looks and sounds exactly like a 122 but only 1 speed motor (stop/tremolo)..thanks for your clip...huge inspiration to me.
I just discovered your upload more than three years late - - but "it don't matter!!" I still LOVE IT!! It is amazing how many B3's have been saved, resurrected and still played by many who insist on nothing but a B3!! Lucky and talented guy you are - - lucky to have a B3, that is!
