I just found your channel the day after Christmas. I really enjoy your channel. Your presentation is top notch. I been using a Hyper X Quadcast the last 4 years for gaming and streaming. As of today, I just bought 6 mics. My first venture into the XLR world is a FiFine K669D with the Fifine SC3 gaming mixer with a Rode XLR cable. It's funny so many microphones try to look like the SM7B.

Thanks! Glad it was helpful! I love the AM8, I think the PM1 is better in USB, and I give the edge to the Am8 in XLR mode. I will be reviewing the PM1 after I complete my review of the OBSBOT Tail Air this week as well.

After hearing the fifine 669 and seeing you rave about it, can I ask if it would be a good vocal home studio mic. I'm trying to set my wife up. She's an amazing singer and want to replace the real junk she's using now.

It was a bummer. Let me know if yours has the same issues in XLR mode. Really curious if I just got a bad one. Although I don’t think it matters with how thin and harsh it was. But still curious!
The condenser mics are so much better than that! They the 414 or the V10. Completely different league. This Mic sounds so cheap
I have heard that as well! Big difference in performance in the video reviews that I have seen myself !
