Jalen Hurts played awful in this game and OU still won 45-20. But how do you play bad against a bad team. Jalen Hurts looked like a good QB early in the season but he got worse and worse idk if it's the play calling or what. But OU could have won a national title in 2019 if they had an actual good QB but Jalen Hurts wasn't. The defense actually come to play that season and was underrated in my opinion people just look at the LSU game and assume Oklahoma's defense was bad but just go back and watch the games in 2019 you will notice that Jalen Hurts was not a good QB.

Hurts still isn’t ready, and this is coming from a die hard Bama fan who supported him on and off the field. He still feels the need to run with the ball at times and tries to force the ball when he’s under pressure most of the time. He needs work on his deep ball but his mid ball accuracy is on point and he can throw on the run. However, I’m not sold on Hurts until I see him play against a good defense. It’s easy to score numbers like this against cheesy Big 12 defenses but his numbers are still impressive. Another thing I gotta pick out is that he needs to start sliding instead of trying to gain extra yards or truck a defender. He’s gonna get hurt like that. He can’t do reckless stuff like that against Texas Nevertheless, Hurts will improve but he still needs work. Might go 3rd round at best in the Draft.

Madden Master Oklahoma plays texas. If you understand how OU played last year. You would see the difference. Instead of allowing 28+ points against opponents they are allowing only 16 or less this year. With that said dont compare murray to jalen, loved murray but he jalen is so much better in so many ways.
