8:00 I think they were planning on going for the screen pass there, but #14 sniffed it out immediately.
I came away from that game thinking that it shouldn't have been remotely close. Very unusual for Hurts to have two huge turnovers like that and they kept Texas in the game. It really should have been a 20+ point victory for OU. If they meet again in the Big12 championship game OU will blow them out. OU's defense is absolutely legit. That's a top 20 defense right there.
Hurts looked slow on getting rid of ball and made some bad throws, otherwise OU should have won by at least 21.

However, our offensive line played much better, and obviously our defense played like a top 10 defense.
If Jalen can improve before the playoffs we have a serious shot at getting to the National Championship game.

It is pretty clear that Ehlinger doesn't have the mental hardware to play QB against decent competition. He doesn't process information fast enough to make decisions quick enough.
@Samwise the Brave Na bro im a Texas Longhorn fan and Sam looked very bad missed alot of open receivers...and he kept holding onto the ball way too long ...The whole offense was trash except Rojo i haven't seen this since the Charlie strong days.....Herman has to win out or he will be on the hot seat he has to win one of those top ten matchups and now hes 0-2 this year

As a Texas fan I've always said that... Everyone swears he's the white Vince Young because he came to Texas as a runner, but Colt McCoy was more 10x more athletic than this kid.

As a Texas fan I hate to say it, but OU looked like they wanted it more, were more focused, and much better prepared and coached. Not that Texas didn’t fight, they just didn’t seem to play with that focused ‘edge’ they have when they’re at the top of their game. Also, Texas gives up, 2 touchdowns to almost every team in the 4th quarter. You’ll never win a big game with bad second half coaching like that.
Texas Longhorns' defensive backs play half-hearted, you simply cannot see effort and heart in their tackling.
OU's defense is for real. If Jalen can polish his game by the playoffs this team is a serious contender.

Ehlinger is overrated BUT those Texas receivers were awful. So many drops on beautiful throws. Texas is not back. This offense is a shell of the Colt McCoy days. Hopefully one day Texas will be back, but they aren’t.
