What's great about this system is that it's inexpensive, it's really easy to use, and the best part of all is that it utilizes equipment that you probably already have.
It's called intraDigital and it's actually an app that turns your existing smartphone in to an intraoral scanner.
Update! A new feature has been added for implant cases so that you don't even need to use a scan body or an open or closed tray impression coping. You just scan either the healing abutment or the implant interface and the software does the rest! This works for most implant systems including AstraTech, BioHorizons, Nobel Biocare, Straumann, Zimmer Biomet, Neodent, Neoss, Keystone, Implant Direct, Blue Sky Bio, and many more!
