Are you able to see what one was used in my wisdom tooth extraction? They said they may have accidentally put one in for a wrong procedure?!? Weird and its in an awkward position so it is causing dental problems wed like to get corrected. Any information will help. Weve already had several scans and confirmed a bulge from it causing thevproblems.

Do you know of any scan body placement forceps or tool kits? Everytime I remove the tissue retracting part and place the impression coping it is so small and slippery. Trying to line it up properly to screw down while the coping spins around and is pushed out of the implant by the tissue. I just know I'm going to drop one, one of these days and it go right down the patient's throat. If there are no tools available to make it more easy to place then someone needs to create and patent some, and make millions.
if you use the one screw test for subging fixtures - would you X-ray all the other fixtures every time you shift the screw to a new position?

Yes, the abutment and screw are both made of titanium. For 100% metal free, you would need to go with a different system such as the Nobel Pearl.

Great video as always! What are your thoughts and experience with restoring Bicon implants, since they too don't have antirotational features?
Even though those don't have an antirotational feature to the interface, they have a friction fit connection that keeps the abutments from rotating/moving. So, they don't have the same issue as the IMZ non-hexed implants.

My 10 yr old implant is loose. My dentist can't find out what screw was used nor the what brand of implant driver. How can he fix my implant if he can't remove the screw?
So if there isn’t bridge healing abutments around, putting a WB will be a better option for splinted restoration?
If a bridge is going to be made, WB healing abutments can be used in place of bridge healing abutments.

My implant crown broke after 4 years of having it , without looking at it the dentist says I would need to change both the abutment and the crown which is more costly as I am paying out of pocket … is this the normal process or should they only be replacing the broken crown? I feel the abutment replacement is unnecessary but I’m also not the professional so I would easily lose that argument with them and have to pay the $1500 for both
Would you recommend continuing to trust them or go and get other dentist opinions on this situation

Is Nobel biocare the only company that made implant with full Zirconium structure ?!
No, there are a few. Another common one is the Straumann Pure Ceramic implant system.
Thanks for the useful information. I have a question for you. Our lab has some issues with Zr crowns before cementing them on to Variobase. Most often there is a slight rotation of the crown, and it can be a challenge to maintain good contact points to the adjacent teeth. Not sure if that's normal? e.g. the cement gap or a problem with the designing or the sintering process. Spinning can be roughly 10-15°.
There are a lot of things that can cause that to happen including how the case was scanned, the parameters set in the software (such as cement gap), the milling unit, the finishing process, etc. It's typically not random though, so the manufacturing process can be adjusted to get better fits. Finding out which specific issues are causing the problem is something that can only be determined by testing each variable to see the effect on the outcome.

My dentist instead of utilizing the traditional impressions with plaster or whatever they use this time they use a digital scanner in my mouth and my upper prosthetic fits extremely perfect tight snug with no wiggle room just seems to have fixed the issue with it loosening up
I had ten implants done in south America for 500$ each it's was the same exact procedure that's done in the USA. Bio horizon implants were used. Take it from me this brand is awesome. Check out there website

Have you talked to your dentist about this? If they aren't able to help you, I would suggest finding another dentist or prosthodontist in your area to help you out.

My crown keeps coming loose every couple months. My dentist is blaming my teeth grinding. Is that right for teeth grinding to loosen the screws in a matter of a month or 2 months.

I prepaid for the dental work that I wanted done....BEWARE Do not go there or take your dog there.. They totally destroyed my mouth and left it undescribable. It would take me forever to explain and everytime I think about it I cry and it has left me in a state of severe depression, as I always took pride in the beautiful smile that I once had....😢😢

Can the Rb abutments be placed on the NT TLX platform? It seems that the screws and the internal connection is identical
The BLX and TLX lines share the same TorcFit connection, so technically it IS possible to attach an RB abutment to an NT implant. Please keep in mind however, that this would probably not be a valid workflow outlined in the FDA 510(k) for the TLX and BLX components.
