This has got to be an homage to the famous “curtain lady” and her unintentional ASMR where her voice is so pleasant and it has that late 80’s/early 90’s vibe and aesthetic. My favorite part was the curtain lady leaning on the plastic packaging where the crinkling sent tingles through my entire scalp. I found an hour loop of the curtain lady on here recently but Maria has a gift with her voice and use of textures and touching to create tingles ☺️

Agree! I think the modern mics make sounds more harsh and less natural. I can't stand modern ASMR that there's whispering and rubbing close to the mic. Just sounds really abrasive to me. I knlw different things for different folks, but I really like these lo fo demonstration vids
This is unbelievably close to Unintentional ASMR which is magnificent. Feels very close to an actual curtain sale room with an unintentionally ASMR salesperson rather than the usual exaggerated ASMR.

A video every so often with a simpler concept (reading from a book, page tracing/flip-through, item organizing, show-n-tells similar to this video, etc). I still love your detailed roleplays and other videos with the super crisp audio and visual provided by more professional equipment, but there really is just something about the vibe of Lo-Fi that scratches a hidden itch in my brain. So delightful, Maria ❤ My mother was a curtain salesperson and I used to bus to the mall to see her after school. I would get so many tingles watching her handle the fabric and describe it to her clients. This brought me back to my early teens and made me feel like I was exploring her fabric store again. Wow, I haven’t gotten tingles in awhile, but this lo-fi video brought them back. For some reason, the newer technology just doesn’t work as well for me. It’s too crisp and harsh. The older tech is softer and warm. Thanks for making all of these lo-fi videos!

I've always wondered do you always have these props laying around or do you buy things for every video? Every video is done to perfection 👏💜
In one of her behind the scenes videos she showed a plastic dresser thing with a bunch of drawers full of props. It was pretty cool! Edit: as I am watching I actually recognize these “curtains” as backdrops for some of her past videos!
With so many viewers its easy to buy stuff

Wow, I haven’t gotten tingles in awhile, but this lo-fi video brought them back. For some reason, the newer technology just doesn’t work as well for me. It’s too crisp and harsh. The older tech is softer and warm. Thanks for making all of these lo-fi videos!
