  • I'll show you how I replaced a turn signal switch AKA stalk AKA combination switch AKA toggle. This is the entire signal stalk that is used for turn signal and is also a combination switch for other functions. I replaced the switch because it was broken and would not stay clicked on when trying to turn left. It would turn off or "self-cancel". This can be used as a guide for W203 or 2001-2007 Mercedes C-Class Sedans.
You'll need just a few tools:
    - Torx T30
    - Torx T10
    - Flathead Screwdriver
    - Breaker Bar with 10mm hex

Thanks to do it simple, easy and fully explained! This fit with c240 w203 2002 also. Was seeing tons of awful videos trying to take out the steering wheel and, if I follow them, sure will get damage my car electrics. Continue do in it like this! THANKS AGAIN!!!! A real pro!

I followed the instructions although the clips on the air bag were different slightly ,they didn't unclip the same but with a bit of fiddling around got it to work, everything else worked fine and when I connected the battery again everything lit up as before and no fault messages at all ,many thanks and I saved about 300 bucks

Good video, thanks it was a great help. Just two things, You should fit the locking piece before you remove the airbag squib. And if you remove the plastic clips over the switches first. You can remove the airbag squib and the steering angle sensor as one piece, which means the copper connections are not exposed.
