- In today’s video, I’m excited to share the 9 top things to do in and around the historic town of Astoria, Oregon. Astoria is in the very northwest corner of Oregon. I’ll give a quick preview first, and then dive into more detail about each recommendation.

Thanks for creating this video. It gives me a insight of the area. Not sure if you know but cruise ships are head back to Astoria this year. Monterey, California, has turned away cruise ships from there port. Royal Caribbean has changed their northbound cruise ships to Astoria starting this April.

Not only that, but the Lewis and Clark National Historic Park. This is a curious list that omits two of the three most important attractions in the area but includes a visit to a cranberry bog. She’s just interested in other things, I suppose.
