great work but i knew two dogs who had inward turned paws and did well and the one went to 14,5 yrs of age and was active and happy. the other one i do not know how old he got but i only experienced the dog happy and active too. the first one was about 38pounds, the second one about 50pounds.
There is a special place in hell for people who treat animals like this. Thank God for the rescue.

@@mudflapsmom179yes because they were bred by humans for blood sport. Originally they were bred to attack bulls and wild boar. Then humans used them to gamble. Maybe it is time we start purposely breeding pits with good temperament so that the blood thirst can be bred out.

@@mudflapsmom179 true, but I can't agree with using bait dogs, that's just messed up to let a dog that doesn't want to fight just get chewed up, also these dogs are not conditioned at all and the bow legged male was clearly not fed correctly. This particular dogman doesn't know what he's doing and isn't caring for his fighting dogs properly.

@@92pmda It's not prey drive. Dogs don't want to fight each other. You have to push these guys hard to make them that way. They were bred to be people friendly, yes. They weren't bred to fight each other. Prey drive is chasing to eat. Cats chasing mice is prey drive. These dogs were treated horribly by people and yet, they're still so happy to see people.

I wish the consequences for those that fight dogs matched the horror these dogs experience. Even just a little bit.
I certainly hope that the jerk that did this to them will be charged for animal cruelty and fined HEAVILY. Not to mention banned for life from ever owning any other pet. It really is time to have stronger rules and regulations to help those that cannot help themselves.
And have to pay all the vet bills, even the surgeries!

Fines and jail time. They made money on the dogs. They can pay the fine but they must spend time in jail to rake their horrible offense seriously

The black and white girl looks just like our Chrissy. We got her away from that city shelter; she had a good life with us for 3 years before she crossed the rainbow bridge. Love you, Chrissy, and we'll see you later in heaven. We miss her so much...

I never had a pitbull but this year a friend of mine called me and said he knows someone who was taking a 6 month old pit/boxer to the pound and could I take her. All of my dogs have been rescues and my 13 year old golden retriever needed a companion since he has bad separation anxiety so I took her in. She thinks she is a lap dog, she is my shadow I'm thinking about renaming her velcro. LOL. I didn't know they require belly rubs 24/7 and she is such the guard dog she barks at the thunder when it rains. They get a bad rap but don't let that keep you from rescuing one like these little ones that are going to need a forever home.

What an amazing organisation pitbulls and parolees truly is ❤️ so often we give up on creatures - human or dog - that have so much locked away ... waiting for a kind word or touch that they may have never felt in all their life. Love must never be underestimated as a power to heal those around us. Anyone who abuses animals in this way will never have the privilege to truly understand that type of love. Rescue a dog and he will repay you tenfold throughout its entire life ❤️ 🙌 💙

I wish a dog could live three decades, at least. So far two decades is the best we can hope for, and even that’s pretty rare. My boi is about 9 - he’s an AmStaff…I would give him years of my life to have him with me as long as I’m here.

I just wanted to help a dog.
He was a marvelous companion to our rescue boxer Autumn (puppy mill Mom) & constantly by my side his whole life.
Nothing but a 100 lbs.baby.
Everyone was afraid of him because he was Big Black & Bully but, all he wanted was love.
It broke me to let them both go. I know it was what was best for them even though it hurts so bad for us.
I do hope they have found each other at Rainbow 🌈 Bridge 🕊️ & I will see them & ALL the other animals again when it's my time.
I tried to give you ALL the best lives I could & miss & love you each day no matter how long you've been departed.
I'll NEVER forget any of you until we're together again.😭💔
We've adopted a new rescue dog who REALLY needs us in Autumn & Ricky's AKA Rock-N-Roll honor.

A very abused pitbull.
Unfortunately the rescue lied to us about her temperament & back story.
We are constantly working with her (fear aggressive) & even the vet is pleased with her progress.
I'll ALWAYS miss Autumn & Rocky though....

As much as I watch about Tia Maria Torres and her huge family - children, dogs, cats, you never get tired of being grateful and delighted ! These people do such a good deed - it is not easy, because it is not enough to save a living creature, you still need to treat, place, care and show attention. And all of Villalobo's charges are happy, pampered and look just like home. All of you who work at Villalobo are worthy of admiration and boundless gratitude for what you do day in and day out.

We were not educated nd believed pitbulls were jst terrible nd scary.. THT IS THE BIGGEST DELUSION! Pitbulls r so amazing they r gentle loving nd resilient!! My rescues are our life nd we forever will be grateful to Tia her family and The Villalobos Rescue Center U have changed it all for these beautiful pitbulls much love to u and all ur family..Our family will continue to follow and support the incredible work u and ur family and ur center continues to do! 🙏🏼✨🙏🏼✨

So happy that the dog fight was stopped and this five are safe. None of this is the dog's fault its greedy monsters who love money and don't care about lives or pain. The dogs are so brave and look how friendly they are, they don't wat that life. I can't beleive those chains round their necks weigh that much, the relief to lose that and get food and hopefully that last dog will accept love and realise all humans aren't mean and we know the dogs have feelings just like we do. All dog fighting should be stopped whether it ever will only god knows!

All the animals that I have ever brought into my home have been rescued. It breaks my heart to see what “human beings “are capable of. It’s one of the many reasons why I prefer animals to humans.
Like tia said it’s not just the monsters who do this but everyone else that knew saw and did nothing that is responsible. If you see a child being abused and you turn away and hope someone else will deal with it then part of that responsibility is yours. It’s the same with dogs

I’m thinking we should put them in an arena and let him fight for his life. Wouldn’t bother me. Michael Vick seems to always come to mind. He even went back to playing football only because the team needed him. I don’t care, he should have been banned from the sport entirely for life.
