ye the people that race for SR are always the problem, they end up in a class ware they cannot race with a false SR. Anyone can sit around at the back for 15 races and get A class, then second they try and race they carnt even drive in a strait line.
i've gotten into a lot more oval recently and have picked up the habit of casually asking the lobby over VC if they want to hear kangaroo fun facts as they rage on each other, then proceed to begin telling kangaroo fun facts regardless of the answer
@ricky wentworth well this race was from about a year ago.. but this particular driver hasn't been active for about a month so maybe he pulled something like this recently 🤷♂️

I race for SR sometimes, I never tell the group because of my superstitious ass and thinking this will be the result. And if it goes wrong, why complain? It’s not going to take away the incidents. Great video. Need more of highlighting this

The part when the dude in the dash 8 says "Im gonna do a barrel roll" ATC's all "No please dont do that its dangerous " DUDE says "too late wooooooooooooaaaaahhhhhh" then proceeds to throw up and says "errrrhhh ugh i just threw up" ATC- "are you ok buddy how bout we land this thing now" thats the moment he knew he fucked up!
They are far too common. Just yesterday I had a guy who has qualified for the Coke Series try and split a gap that wasnt there while I was letting another car go, instead of just waiting for the next corner. He had several seconds of gap to 2nd place and could clearly see me on the outside of the corner and the other dude to my inside. His solution was to scream and berate me, telling me to uninstall because I am not good at road courses. Not for sympathy, but a statement of fact; I suffered a traumatic brain injury last year which required 2 different surgeries to get the swelling under control and put the patch pack on my skull and have severe short term memory issues. So I can learn an oval well enough to be competitive in my splits, but a road course is a whole new track to me every lap (except Watkins Glen). And this 'professional' iracers answer to going for a non existent gap and driving right into my door is to immediately spew that toxic shit instead of using it as a teaching moment for either me or the other guy that potentially could have waited and let Mr Speedy go in that corner. It was my third time getting lapped (yes, I know I am clown shoes slow at Canadian Tire) so it was not something he should caught him off guard. Also, I have always sucked at road racing as I cant find what I am leaning on to make ovals work.

Just a week ago in F4s in Barcelona I had someone who was hitting the brakes like 30-50 meters before the braking point. Some were able to avoid Others, like me, who got a better exit and were just about to pull to the left to pass got shoved up his rear when he hit the brakes way too early. He decided that it was OUR fault for not expecting him to brake way too hard, way too early. 2 laps later I was lapping him and he decided to wipe me out
Biggest piece of advice for gaining sr is don't start in the back, I don't care what somebody on CZcams said or what you buddy said, starting in the back is gonna make it way more likely to get involved in someone else's mess and you are gonna have a very hard time finishing well
The alternative is having a group of cars sandbag on the pace lap then come blasting through the field at mach Jesus before the pole sitter has a chance to accelerate.
Dude has the worst ARCA brakes I've ever seen, thinks he's Tom Cruise in Days of Thunder and can pull some slick move to avoid all of them, straight-up YOLOs it into cars that are obviously out of control or wrecked, then has the audacity to complain about getting caught up in wrecks that could have been easily avoided if he would just lift and actually think about what he's doing; In fact, I don't think he lifted once to actually avoid a crash. I don't even play this game and it's obvious to anyone who is familiar with racing at all that you just don't do that. This is like, day 1 stuff for real race car drivers.

So I did make a note of that in the captions... I have my view set to "Hide car numbers" that way people who have "custom number paints" have their paints displayed. If you look at the relative in the Top left it shows #21. Another example in this race was the #13.... while it showed #13 in the relative visually in race it showed him driving an Earnhardt #3 car.

After 22 years of sim racing the quality and respect of today sim wrecker is why I will not renew i wrecking..they have no consequences for wrecks and should limit it to 2 car per week per series. Sim racing is no longer entertaining or fun..

I think the community gets a bad name from a few bad apples. There are many high IR drivers who I've messaged after races and they've responded with tips willing to help. Also discord servers like "ARCA Farm" are full of supportive people.
@Racing With Rob I did an arca race earlier today at Martinsville, and the leader was putting on a clinic. I mean he was lapping everyone. Dude was straight up fast. My biggest gripe is, in a fixed race, how is someone THAT damned fast? I'm not accusing of cheating or anything, but if it's because he is able to spend hours upon hours upon days just practicing and practicing, perfecting the racing line, what hope does someone like me who is a family man with a past full time job have to even compete for a win?
@Darklord Ky so I'm in my late 30s and have 3 kids so definitely feel your pain. My irating when I first joined fell all the way to 600 and am now over 3k. The biggest thing that helped me was spending an hour or 2 before the week practicing hotlap and long run before jumping into an actual race. I rarely race more than 3/4 races a week unless it's at a track I know really well... most of my racing and practice is after the kids go to sleep after 9pm The other thing is after I started uploading my videos to CZcams i would ask/message fast guys to take a look in discord and mostly they were willing to help. I know in my video I highlighted the 1 car being an ass but I think there are a lot more fast guys willing to help. Guys like Justis always are willing to help give tips when they are streaming or if they are in a practice lobby. Hopefully you keep at it. It's very rewarding to look back and see how much you can improve with experience.

Might have been his fav track. But for sure certain tracks just feel good. And martinsville if youre not quick you will go laps down rather easily. Ive seen it happen before.

The biggest thing that helped me was spending an hour or 2 before the week practicing hotlap and long run before jumping into an actual race. I rarely race more than 3/4 races a week unless it's at a track I know really well... most of my racing and practice is after the kids go to sleep after 9pm
The other thing is after I started uploading my videos to CZcams i would ask/message fast guys to take a look in discord and mostly they were willing to help.
I know in my video I highlighted the 1 car being an ass but I think there are a lot more fast guys willing to help.
Guys like Justis always are willing to help give tips when they are streaming or if they are in a practice lobby.
Hopefully you keep at it. It's very rewarding to look back and see how much you can improve with experience.

@@cementer4life hardware and theyve probally ran 1 thousand la[s on that track. IDK about you but I have tracks that I love and im fast at. Others not some comfortable. It makes a difference. Might have been his fav track. But for sure certain tracks just feel good. And martinsville if youre not quick you will go laps down rather easily. Ive seen it happen before.
That's why I prefer AI racing. They don't talk shit.

As a Iracer, I never want anyone in a racing comunity like #1. plus how he was talking to everyone is against Iracing rules. Sure hope he get a ban. If more than once on his recorded, perma ban
I'm thankful most of the top split #1 cars I've reached out to for help are pretty gracious with sharing tips and knowledge.

I really hope the guy did protest him and they suspend his service indefinitely. I bet you money the #1 car really does live in his moms basement. His mother is probably Danica Patrick based on his driving abilities. (Sorry not even Danica was that bad) 🤦
