@@2Long2type Falcon just sucks entirely lol. Everything Falcon does, there are characters that do it better. His up B gets him punished far more than it connects. There are many characters with F-airs that are almost just as strong as Knee, but 10x easier to land. His grabs suck, all of special moves are slow as a snail, bad recovery, combo food character, upsmash has a bad hit hox, I can go on and on.

That second round lasted 100 seconds. Fatality won with 1 stock left. They burned through each others stocks in 20 seconds. If you count the 5 or so seconds respawning takes, then someone died 15 seconds into each fight. Just let that sink in. Rob can literally hover in the air for 15 seconds, Wadi would have lived longer if he jumped off and did the longest SD he could.

This was such a good match to watch!!!
Fatality weakness is he doesn't back up so you can just wall him out of his aggressive option. And his neutral his lacking in some ways grabing near the edge at kill percent meanwhile the other is far from kill percent is asking to get killed.
Most of these weaknesses are weaknesses of falcon more so than fatality. That turn around is sooo bad, you have to constantly approach and aggress, you can get away. Falcon had little to no neutral game, it’s always forward moving.

But somes Captain Falcon know how to read Neutral better and are more patient like Nic.C. Fatality need to study his own neutral game instead of playing online and watch his game so he know wich option he picked badly on thoses kinds of situation.

Also. He doesnt take advantage of tilts in neutral. Dtilt and ftilt are excellent spacing tools against longer reaching Charachters if u wish to not risk the nair.
@@TapDat52K Both of those options are mediocre in this match up for spacing because of the distance Falcons hurtbox would move. You're legitimately better off risking Nairplane because you can interrupt reversal attempts with jab. Ftilt and dtilt for falcon are both unsafe on shield, landing nair2 is your best bet. With falcon you have to commit because he's the worst ultimate character when it comes to baiting.
Love to see the best fatality player get beaten down. Great Rob player! Excellent set to see. The dunk at the end was savage, but deserved since Fatality taunted the first match he won even though he knew he wasn't going to win 😂😂😂

Fatality should REALLY practice a top tier character and he can easily enter top 8 of the rankings. Cap Falcon is very good in his hand but the character has limitations.

Well you're really not considering that falcon does not have the best neutral in the game as compared to someone like ROB who has good disjoints on his neutral air to approach and shield poke with down tilt as compared to a hard commit command grab and a character with most of his moves minus on shield fatality did mostly everything right although he could've done much better off stage edge guarding

Legit if you try to disengage from defense as falcon you may as well drop your controller for a second. Only time you're backing up is from your own aggressive plays.

I dont know this match up(never play either one) but at a glance it seems falcon should win this match-up but again , i dont know either character much.
However even if falcon loses the match up , fatality needs to play against more characters(his streams are over 90% playing subs who for whatever reason only ever play falcon... So unless its falcon only tourney fatality wont have match-up knowledge)
Imo (I play Falcon) Rob has the tools to keep Falcon out and so every opportunity you get to actually damage Rob, needs to be taken as far as possible. However, Rob can punish you hard if you overextend a combo/string. From my experience, it feels like a +1 matchup in Rob's favour. Im not great at avoiding projectile spam so I may be biased but I played a very prominent Rob player, Jams, earlier this year and I could not get in at all. He's obviously a better player but his neutral was oppressive between gyro, aerials and laser. Just my opinion but it seemed like Fatality had the same struggles to some degree

Fatality did not play well this set. His neutral is lacking, and his playstyle is too predictable. No, I don't think these problems are unique to Falcon. Even though I'm a Fatality fanboy, his performance is lacking.
Whiffed shield grabs: 1:34, 2:27, 7:52, 8:26, 9:30
"bUt FaLcOn gRaB suCks??!" all characters have a shitty shield grabs, get over it, don't rely it, and in some of these situations it was so blatantly obvious ROB was not going to get grabbed
Jumping into ROB's nair: 1:05, 1:07, 5:32, 7:56, 8:57
ROB's nair is good, however I'm not sure how many times Fatality shows to approach from the air aggressively into an active hitbox. Note that this is nair and not ROB's fair, this list would be much longer. Although Falcon is good in the air, ROB's aerials stuff out a lot of aerial moves, so one should tend to not challenge them in this kind of matchup, something Fatality still did not implement up to the final game. I think I saw fatality win only one or two exchanges in the air with ROB. There are other ways to approach.
Jumping into laser: 1:57, 9:19, 11:04, 12:20, 13:28
This was especially common late game, as Wadi realized how many times Fatality was jumping to approach or jumping out of shield. Many of these interactions Fatality wasn't even in danger or in a disadvantage state, but his habit of jumping still got him some % and Wadi exploited this. Fatality did not adapt to this adjustment. Fatality head shake after jumping into laser the umpteenth time aroudn 13:30, and the commentators themselves realizing it at 12:33.
Fatality's aggression getting him extra %: 5:24, 5:27, 8:30, 8:34
Fatality is known for his aggressive playstyle, but a lot of times this manifests in added % which is never good in these situations. Whether or not your character can approach aggressively, if he's unable to do it safely (especially if you're opponent has adapted to you doing it so many times, e.g. aerial to get back on stage), then DON'T do it.
Fatality's aggression/over-extension ending his stock: 8:11, 9:07, 9:55, 11:57
FOUR stocks because Fatality was too aggressive. "bUt MuH FaLcon!?" I don't care what character you play, ROB's U-Smash is not something you want to challenge. I don't think 8:11 was a mistake, as Fatality is always being cheeky with his up B's to catch opponents recovering.
This list doesn't include Fatality landing with aerials or the several dozen times he jumped over ROB and ate an u-air or a nair (some ended his stocks). I don't think Fatality's neutral is as good as it could be, and I think he lacked in adjusting to Wadi's adjustments to his own gameplay (aggressive landing aerials, jumping out of shield, jumping over Wadi, shield grabbing, etc.). One thing Fatality did adjust to is realizing that Falcon's Up-B out of shield doesn't even connect against ROB's frame data/disjoints, so he stopped that quickly. Once Wadi smelled his jumping on the other hand, it was all downhill from there.

Imo nickc is the best falcon by far. He’s the only one with a good neutral game and mixups. The others just overextend their combos and get too thirsty but nickC isn’t as predictable.

If he put effort into a high/top tier, his results would be better exceptionally. Plus you saying he washed meaning you're still going off of results lmao. Like I said, results do not equal fan base. Like I said before, he is a fun player to watch, he is humble, and an overall chill/nice guy. You make it seem like he is a bad player when he is far from it. He is one of the very FEW players who is trying to keep falcon in the pro scene. There is literally no reason to dislike fatality unless you hate his fans, which even then thats no reason to hate the player.
