Those moments when all the hard stuff is done -- you clutched the round, made it overtime, or just about completed the comeback -- and all you have to do is take that one little minuscule step across the finish line and then your brain just… shuts off.
It happens to the best of us, even the pros.
So today, we wanted to have some fun and rank those cerebral mishaps that, while horrifying for the players involved, are pretty funny for all of us. Here are The Top 10 Times Players’ Brains Turned Off.

5:46 Team Alliance didn't forget to lock in their pick. They just missed the window of time for banning. Since the ban and pick button is at the same place they picked gyro instead of banning it.

@@subezdo i play overwatch and i still dont know lmfao. The camera angles in owl are just bad. I play league and fights do get cluster fcky but still noticible to see hp bars and control of fights.

Same league and all that shit they'll be all hype commentating what's happening and all I see are a bunch of little sprites going to town on each other in a circle
there’s different overlays they use for OWL when spectating the games , so they can look a little cluttered with overhead view , but when they switch to player view it’s a lot clearer
I clutched a 1v5 in valorant in a retake it was insane I stood up and danced around my room little did I know I forgot to defuse the spike
I won a game of Siege like that, this guy clutched up against us, did a quick teabag on my body, and didn't have enough time to defuse lmao. We won 5-4 and all my friends were laughing their asses off at him

He was standing up for his right to pop off whenever he wants and by extension, all of ours. He's the hero we neither deserved nor needed nor wanted.

So here's something about the Rocket League clip that maybe not everyone knows. At 11:15 When Torsos rotates back in net he calls "no boost" indicating that he plans to grab the small boost pads around net to fuel up, if possible. But when his teammate Kamii gets dunked he realizes he has no time and has to save the ball. Torsos didn't really have 0 boost though, but 12, enough to save the ball. Since he is so low on boost he can't just monkey straight to the ball or he will run out, so he has to try to play it slow to the corner. This slow play, combined with his 0 boost call from earlier, mindgames his teammate Siki into thinking he has to go himself and he own goals.
So with all this information now before you I think you will agree that this is not quite a 0 IQ play. It's, like, 40 at least.
The communication is 0 IQ, but agreed that the play by Siki is probably a 50 IQ, he knew what he was doing based on Torsos 0 IQ communication, and it could’ve gone either way.
8:00 Moth is known for having a straight faced response to most things, so it's always funny coming back to this clip and seeing the look of terror on his face

Thanks for covering Rocket League! That moment was just... i was there at the stadium. The crowd couldnt believe what happend. RL players are mental and mechanical beasts through body and brain. Something like this happening after a 9 minute overtime... it is just crushing. Not just for the player, for everyone watching. It is like a lighting striking your head, while laying on the beach in sunny weather, twice.
Ogawazato popping off but just having a sneak to confirm he actually won unlike Woshige at 3:27 is one of the funniest things I have ever seen.

Shame the community is so toxic. Never have I seen so many toxic shitheads in an online game. I missed a goal in duo once and my teammate proceeded to play for the other team lmao. Sad thing is this happened multiple times to me

Every dota2 match rn, when you're winning then someone on the team will get cocky and do a high ground dive with no vision and as a support you will try to save them, next thing you know its a team wipe and GG for us
Thats a very common mistake in every mobas ranked (dota lol hots etc etc), but it is just something that should not happen in professional play

My biggest 0 IQ moment: Played dubs in a smash tournament in January, my partner and I were knocked off stage almost simultaneously (I was King K Rool and he Joker) and for some reason... I did a back air and spiked him. He turned and stared at me like "bruh". I don't know why I did it, and I'm still haunted by that moment when I think of that tournament
The Alliance case is in face they wanted to ban the hero, but they clicked it too slow that the ban phase timed out, and they were the team to pick after it, so they accidentally picked the hero
As much as EG threw the match against Empire, Canadian said he would peek white stairs again. lol
