This video was a pleasure to watch. I was looking for a video to affirm that I taped my screen properly (first time doing on in 15 years) and your video gave me confidence. Super professional and informative. Thanks!

I had difficulty using this tape with the roller frames. Not the best in my opinion. It work ok on glued screens. But would eventually have to replace the tape on long runs. So to be honest, I was never a fan of it when it came to the automatic. It did its job though on short runs.

Wait, what are the pros and cons of the permanent blockout?

Great question! Some pros are: no tape costs, storage/application of the tape, can come pre-blocked from the person who stretched/built out the screens. Cons: pin holes may occur causing the need to use tape in the end anyway, ink gets into corners making cleaning more difficult, and traditional washout will be more difficult with spray back and potential tears from getting too close to the corners where there's less flex in the screen.

The M&R Companies Thanks! But dang, seems like more cons than pros for most shops.

Do you apply tape before emulsion or tape after applying emulsion
