Love superfriends archetype but wotc is killing planeswalkers in favour of mass printing legendary creatures. Nice way of revitalizing standard filling sets with commander cards. Great value for standard players.
That's what finally stopped me playing is that there's 1-2 decks every rotation due to the nature of the game. Within a week you're so sick of playing against those decks you want to scream.
if their economy werent so dogshit it would easily be super popular, but as it stands its so fucking brutal to new players to even attempt to find what they like to play and build a deck
@@slaphappy-qb3jb More and more often I wish so badly that one wildcard would give you as many copies as you want. It's especially weird when singleton formats are included. You only have to spend one wildcard there to try out something new, but the game also just keeps giving you cards you can't use. Alternatively with reprints like Concealed Courtyard and Phyrexian Arena, I'd so much prefer not to burn FOUR MORE WILDCARDS for what amounts to a skin
@@noobknights shit I would even take it at a 2 for 1. Recycle 2 rares you'll never use for 1 rare wildcard. It's absolutely crazy to me that they are so greedy that they keep the system the way it is. I'd bet dollars to donuts their player engagement/retention would dramatically increase if they did something, anything to make the economy better
Okay but, has anybody actually tried playing this deck? I CANNOT for the life of me get it to beat anything outside of go wide/aggro decks. Anything else and this deck does nothing
Unlikely that there will be that many cards you would want to trade in from a single set, and even if there were a lot it would normally take you some time to get them...
There aren't many good playable cards in the new set. I've seen maybe half a dozen that are actually worth taking a look at. The rest are just nieche cards that will probably need the next set to take off. There are a few tribal decks that are possible to break out due to the new land, but I sincerely doubt they will be anything more than tier 2 decks. Humans is something to watch out for though....
How is Liliana still in Standard after Rotation. Damn, IT feels Like she's been around for years
The only one in BO1!
DOMINOtion!!
This fellow seems like a decent up and coming young magic player that should get some more attention

Yeah agreed it's so anti fun
Shh don't let the reddit mtg arena standard players see this

Mtga would be completely dead without CGB

Not a whole lot better than CGB getting a little salty and quitting against WU Control
this game is garbage galore
I don't get the point of rotation proof decks. You will add better card from the new set to this, so no one is going to play them.

I play rotation proof decks. In fact I just hit mythic with them.
Not everybody has money to spend
