The greatest negative with this model is that the plastic groove holding its back lock is very thin for the tension it is exposed to and for that reason, it often breaks.

Bahut hi badhiya, I have both 270 deluxe and Cx12,I like its effortless playing, it requires very little draw or blow effort.I love it.

Sir, please batao metal body me ekdam achchha malodious sound wala kaunsi co.ka kaunsa scale ka harmonica lena chahiye? Budget ki koi problem nahi hai 15-20k bhi chalega.

Sir, since u have recently bought it so my recommendation would be, dont open it for few months. Just clean its slider.
Thank you sir for your reply. Dr Manoj Pai is helping me progress in playing. I have removed and cleaned slider but I think the breath plates are sticking on some notes.
Rightly described, very useful tips Sir ji, in fact it is delicate harmonica in comparison with 270 super or delux....it is to be handled vary carefully..

Doordarshiji, my personal experience about the main drawback of this model is its
extremely noisy slider, but that again might be my bad luck of getting a faulty piece. Thanks.
Even I am a beginner that slider sounds to much.
Slider makes sound as CX12 doesn't have buffers unlike other harmonicas.

I recently have purchased the same model and having problem with sticking of wind savers of middle octave "Ga" and "Ma" note constantly. So the notes are not playing well.

Hello .. I have a Hohner cx12 . I m just not able to play some notes like E and G .. whenever it’s rainy weather ( moisture in the air ) . Otherwise also whenever there is even a little amount of humidity these notes don’t play clearly . Does anyone has the same experience? And what’s the solution for it .. thanks for any help you may provide

Sir what is the difference between Hohner 7545TC CX12 Chromatic Harmonica - Key of Tenor C, Black and CX12C
I ordered 7545TC as above but Amazon sent me CX 12. So are these two harmonica same and no difference ? Please help me out because they charged me more.

Dont open harmonicas frequently for cleaning.

One more drawback DD ji, vapour gets easilly stuck especially for begginers and 3 to 4 years experience players , more experienced can handle it.
But really a sweet sound

CX12 is a good harmonica. I have two, in C and D scales
this thing just screams Germany. From the design to the well-madeness. Actually one of the more affordable german pieces out there. If you are in photography or audio german equipement normally means death to the wallet. This a working men could afford. Even with a little saving.

Its good harmonica for its price... Of course cant compare with higher priced models, but in 5-6k range quite reasonable.

Q U E S T I O N , P L E A S E - P R O B L E M THAT'S UNIQUE TO THE CX-DESIGN CHROMATICS: Unlike the traditional-style chromatics, which merely need the cover plates removed in order to re-adjust any reed, the CX design is somewhat of a problem in that the slide is difficult to hold in place to adjust & play the reeds with the housing/cover removed. Has anyone discovered a solution to facilitating such type of maintenance to the CX-DESIGN chromatics? Thanks a million for any help.
