i love the way the hot air ballon takes off as the 2 men try to start the bus again and then floats away when the bus starts.great video guys best wishes from the UK
That was lot like when we travelled to Helsinki-Ruka-Helsinki with Onni Vilkas busses during the eighties, -30C cold starts in Pudasjärvi. Then after skiing the aamupäivä we came back to bus to have our lunch, and the bus was warming up again. Those were the days.
tulee muitot mieleen, kun kouvolassa linja-autonkuljettajan kursilla ajoon lähtö talvella -30 pakkasta ja aina jäi joku auto pihaan tai huolto halliin.
What manufacture of body is this? Having the engine in the front seems quite old fashioned for early 80s, was this still common in Finland early 80s and why?
Complimenti bellissimo video io ho fatto una esposizione di modellini in scala se ti va di vederli su CZcams antonello vicino autobus di tutto il mondo se ti va puoi farlo girare ad altri colleghi grazie

Euro 10 :D Nice place, i like winter! That sound, when you walking!
Determined Finns won’t let the night stop them from starting an old Scania F112. Great video
Finns start up everything
Absolutely spectacular!
Nätissä kunnossa tämä yksilö. Maalipintakin kiiltelee hienosti.
God, I love the sound of diesel engines!
heyyy Salmela.. i recognise that name! those green buses used to roll through Haparanda quite often :D
Woooow' Very Beautiful Place
Legendaarisia kapineita.
"hyvin" oli asiat firmassa, jos jokaisen auton käynnistämiseen sai käyttää pari päivää.
Beautiful land
0:50. Air Balloon! I wouldn't be surprised if this is how Finland picks up stranded bus passengers ha ha!
Well the balloon seemed to match the bus's livery !
I dont get it, plus im finnish
Tässäkin bussissa on aikonaan menty monet matkat.
inthis day didnt start.the next day yes,but the engine is in front, into the cab,if preheat the coolant water the issue is less.
We had/have preheater on our all our coaches and buses and many had even an extra set of batteries.
A block heater would save a lot of wear and tear but I'm sure you guys have thought of that!
Lämmin bussi 😀
Kaunis bussi
Can't believe a Scania wouldn't have a Webasto!
I would of said hell with it and became a bear and hibernate until spring lol. Its cool it started i will say.
💪💪

The battery is pretty low, isn't it?
Probably thick oil causing drag at that temperature, not batteries.
Yeah the battery capacity really drops at those temps.
some batteries the energy is 50% respect a normal day (21 celcious)
@@Ollitopay its the thick oil i guess
Pikavuoro :D
Tot mai bun ca otokar stb :)
On niin komea auto tuo Scania!
the aerostatic globe!!!
I WOULD LOVE TO LEARN DRIVE IT
Do not turn off the engine!
Cuando viajé a Finlandia me llevo una botella de sirope para hacerme varios granizados 🍨🍨🍨
hello can i use a part of this video for my compilation? of course i drop a link to your original in the description too :)
Okay 👍
Euro 6 diesel?
no, it's euro 5
Its finland
What manufacture of body is this? Having the engine in the front seems quite old fashioned for early 80s, was this still common in Finland early 80s and why?
Body is finnish Delta Plan from year 1982. This bus was in use 1982-2016.
A Scania diesel always starts. If the battery is fairly fresh.

Similar front to Ikarus. Peace
DS11? 306 hp?
You Need to tighten your alternator belt's that will charge the battery's better and it will stop that screaming coming from the engine too.
Vuosimalli?
Tuntuu olema noin 77, about..
1982
OMG how about using a block heater and keep the battery fully charge
NO SHIT?
how old is this bus???
About 1979-1981
1982
