My high school coach was against players with what he called attitude problems. I called it passion. He act like he loked me but he knew he needed me to win. When college coaches came around, he told them I had an attitude and they wouldn't want me. I found out later, he and the school wouldn't give out information to college coaches that visit ed.

@@FTW54 That’s the episode I’m referring to. By his own admission Millen didn’t know who it was he grabbed and ‘punched’ with his helmet. My recollection is he wasn’t sorry at the time about doing it. Possibly he has since come to regret his brutish conduct.
@@aidankirby8412 I’ll amend my comment to read ‘overrated LB & probably the worst GM in NFL history.’ He made the Pro Bowl once-wow. He was effective against the run, but hardly a ‘force.’ Had all of eleven sacks in 12 seasons and couldn’t cover a blade of grass. He basically was the beneficiary of three exceptional programs, at Penn State and with the Raiders and 49ers.

He was certainly showing his attitude when he used his helmet to smash a civilian’s skull, a la Myles Garrett, after a playoff loss. Mediocre LB & GM.

Millen was a Pro Bowler, you buffoon. Also played on 4 Super Bowl teams, and an All American at Penn State.
