You claim to be a "Home fry" You are still just a tater tot.... Looooong way to go my man, lots to blow your mind. Welcome to the club 🙂
😂😂😂
Lol true story. I’m definitely a tater tot for now 😂😂😂. Appreciate the support 🤝🏾
@angelamiller6275 lol can’t do anything but accept that one, right 😅
@RetroQuinReacts , you'll get there. I've been following since "The Sing Off". I can promise, you won't be disappointed; I haven't been yet!
@angelamiller6275 true story. Let the journey continue 🙏🏾
“How Great Thou Art” = traditional church music
“My Church” = gospel inflected country
“Everybody Walkin This Land” = revival meeting
Appreciate those suggestions
Very good explanation 😊
@@roniboyd613 Thanks
Gospel: How Great Thou Art, My Church, In the Blood, Go Rest High on That Mountain
Thanks for these suggestions
If you want to hear them sing old school gospel, they have an incredible rendition of “How Great Thou Art” - their voices are angelic and the video (shot in Europe) is incredible!!
For sure! I can’t wait to check that one out 🙏🏾
Tim is the bass, Chance is the baritone/ bass, Rob is the tenor, Austin is the high tenor and Adam is the beatboxer
Thank u for this. The more I see it the more it’ll help me out. It’s like they all got the perfect voices that mesh together great!
Check out "Mary did You Know", it'll take you to church
Most definitely! Thanks for that suggestion!
Their Joy to the World brings the gospel.
Hosanna Concert 2013
@@marlenekloth4734 Excellent performance. I just compared the studio version and they are very similar, but the live 'Hosanna' performance is noteworthy for showing they can do this stuff live and is very approachable.
Thank u. I’ll check that one out
Thanks for this suggestion as well. I’ll be looking into it
You seriously need to check out BROTHERS IN ARMS by Home Free. True honor to those who served and laid their lives down. You really need to play this one!!!!!
Thank u. I’ll look into that one for sure
They did the Boyz to Men proud with this one. Thanks for your reaction.
Ur very welcome. I’m glad that u enjoyed
And.. that's why we wanted you to hear this one. LoL. Great reaction! Gospel? I think " How Great Thou Art " is one of the most beautiful songs they've ever preformed. Their cover of " My Church " ( brings back memories of my grandma singing old time Gospels) is on my main Playlist. and I'm not really religious, but I can appreciate fantastic musical talent.
Thanks and they definitely delivered all the great vibes in this one. I can’t wait to start checking out some of their gospel
Gospel Rob....
I love it!
Gospel songs by Home Free: How Great Thou Art, Amazing Grace, Children Go Where I Send Thee, many, many beautiful Christmas songs!
❤❤❤❤❤
Don’t forget Go Rest High On That Mountain
Thank u so much. Those Christmas songs will hit perfect in a few months
Thanks. I’ll add that one as well. Does that fall under Christmas or gospel?
@@RetroQuinReacts gospel
Gospel…. View “How Great Thou Art”!
Will do!
Gospel is a big yes
Most definitely! I’ll be knocking out a few soon
Home Free's rendition of "How Great Thou Art" is stunning. Phenomenal harmonies amid a spectacular setting. Everyone with a soul will feel the spirit, religious or not. Also, with the Christmas season check out some of their Christmas music. Highly recommend "O Holy Night" and "Do You Hear What I Hear". New sub here.
I second this. Heck, I am a complete non-believer, but their rendition of "How Great Thou Art" is a truly beautiful piece of music.
Also Angels we Have Heard.
Much appreciated. I’ll definitely check those out along with the other that was suggested
@nancyholter5646 I’ll check that one out as well
These guys do an amazing job of this song! They can do any genre including R&B. Rob's voice has so much feeling & soul in it. Austin adding his higher tones, Chance is holding down the bass in the back, Tim adding some deeper bass notes & Adam with his fabulous vocal percussion. These guys are my favorite a cappella group out there. Shawn Stockman from Boyz II Men was one of the judges on the "Sing Off" that Home Free won & he was a big fan of these guys from the start. I'm sure he loved their version of this song.
Agreed! With the talent and vocal ranges they all have I’m sure they could cover any genre
Oh yeah... all those listed songs (Children Go Where I Send Thee and How Great Thou Art, especially!) plus the Christmas carol: Do You Hear What I Hear is an absolute must. Nothing else like it. Arranged by the beatboxer Adam Rupp. Then, O Holy Night and Angels We Have Heard On High. Both heavenly 5-part harmony. Enjoying your HF reactions!
Much appreciated and thanks for those suggestions as well!
Tim Foust is their bass, he has a 5 octave range. They also have a baritone, Chance, who's in the back road on the right.
Much appreciated for breaking that down
Chance can sing bass very well. He was the bass singer in his previous group, Street Corner Symphony.
How Great thou Art you will love
Got it locked in to do soon 💪🏾
You gotta hear How Great Thou Art
For sure! I’ll be checking that one out soon
Everybody Walkin This Land!!
I’ll lock that one in!
Hey check out When A Man Loves A Woman and The Butts Medley! You will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!
For sure! I have the first one recorded already. It should be releasing soon
How Great thou Art by Home Free... check it out
Will do! I’ll lock it in 🤝🏾
Ooh! You want gospel??? Yes! Home Free featuring Kenny Rogers, Children go where I send Thee. And Home Free with Peter Hollens Amazing Grace. And Home Free How Great Thou Art, and there's more, but I'd start with those.
Thank u. Imma definitely check out their gospel. I bet it’s amazing!!
As others have mentiined ... How Great thou Art.
Most definitely will be doing that one soon
One of my favorite reactors said, "Wait a minute! Ain't a brother in the bunch!" 😂
Lol heck yea 🤣🤣🤣
Love Home Free. Give a try to the Butt Medley or Listen to the Music, Doobie Brothers cover.
Will do!
I think you'd love their Everybody Walkin' this Land. Bass lead and _powerful_ song.
Thank u. I’ll definitely look into that one
@@RetroQuinReactsmake sure to watch until the end for an important message.
For sure. I’ll make sure to keep that in mind. I typically let videos play all the way through because I kno some ppl out things at the very end
Tim Foust=bass
Rob Lunquist=tenor
Adam Chance=baritone
Austin Brown=high tenor
Adam Rupp=beatboxer (he can make any sound!)
Great reaction 🎉 I love Home Free😊
Much appreciated for that breakdown and I love them too! They amazing 🔥
I love Boyz II Men and have played End of the Road so many times. I never thought I'd ever like a cover of this song. But Home Free did it, while maintaining the respect for the original. How wonderfully sung by all! But for me it is mainly Rob who nailed it. What a great voice with so much soul in it. He touches me deep inside. Of course it is the combination of the other leads, fantastic harmony, bone-feeling bassline and the inhuman vocal percussion that makes it complete.
The best A-Cappella group for me!!
Very well said. I can’t imagine them messing up any covers or anything for that matter. They all got great voices 🔥🔥
That was a great reaction just go deeper in their catalog.
Most definitely! At this point I can literally click on anything that pops up and I think I’ll be good. I don’t see them missing on anything
Gospel Rob, when he gets in the zone, ear-gasms. If you want to hear some gospel, check out Children, Go Where I Send Thee with Kenny Rogers. It's like going to church!
Lol absolutely true! And I’ll be checking those out as well
lol, I'm here because "Home Free" popped up on my screen but turns out, you're a delightful reactor!! 😄
Lol I appreciate that a lot 😄🙏🏾
🎶🎵HOMEFREE🎵🎶
The best in the game 🔥🔥
How Great Thou Art is not a gospel arrangement but has beautiful 5 part harmonies.
Gotcha. I’ll be knocking that one out soon
For a great gospel song check out Children Go Where I Send Thee with Kenny Rogers, Amazing Grace with Peter Hollens, or How Great Thou Art.
For sure. Thanks for those suggestions
How Great Thou Art, and Amazing Grace featuring Peter Hollens, both fantastic. The group is very versitile. They will interchange parts on any given song. They are the best of the best.
Thanks for those. I’ll be checking them out very soon
Great reaction. And welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole.
Thank u so much ❤️🙏🏾
For some gospely songs, try How Great Thou Art and Go Rest High on That Mountain
Thanks. Made a note of em
How about How Great Thou Art or Amazing Grace. They did a video of How Great Thou Art in the Swiss Alps on their world tour which was abruptly ended due to covid.
I’ll be checking those all out. Appreciate it
Tim is the bass. He has a five plus octave range. Chance is the baritone.
Appreciate u for letting me kno that 💪🏾
Loved your reaction! It was so fun seeing the delight and joy on your face. It really lights you up!
Much appreciated. I love pure talent & they got it for sure
You have got to listen to their version of "How Great Thou Art" the most beautiful version you'll ever here
Absolutely! I’ll be getting it up on the channel soon
@@RetroQuinReacts you will not be disappointed
@randallhamilton6447 fasho. I’m definitely excited to check it out
I always enjoy it when "Gospel Rob" comes out to play!
He definitely knocked it out and that was just a small sample. I already kno they gone blow my mind even more whn I check out their gospel covers
I was blessed they came to my area and got to see them live. They are even better live. It was the best Party, as they call it, not just a concert. They are all truly gifted individually but when they come together.... MAGIC ❤
So happy for u. I bet u had the time of your life!!
@@RetroQuinReacts Thank you so much and Yes..one of the best concerts I've ever been to. Definitely see them if you get the chance to.
I most definitely will!
This is one of my favorite songs but one of my favorite Boyz II Men songs. Home free, even if they don't tweak it up, takes a song and makes it their own but you still love and appreciate the original. I'm so glad they covered this song and I'd love to know what Sean Stockman thought of this, he was one of Home Free's biggest fans when they were on the Sing Off. "How Great Thou Art" is out of this world!!! They filmed it a while ago when they were in Austria and between the song itself, their amazing voices - and Adam (the beatboxer) has a start in it and you get to hear the purity of his voice - and the absolute beauty of God's handiwork in those Austrian mountains make it one you shouldn't miss. They also do "Do You Hear What I Hear" which Adam arranged.
Do you hear what I hear? Definitely one of my favorites and How Great Thou Art just lovely and you get to hear Adam sing
Most definitely! This group is so freaking amazing! I’m glad I checked them out
I can never fathom that there are no instruments on this. There is a constant ringing sound throughout this that I cannot figure out how they are making. Of course that’s on most of their songs! Rob was unbelievable on this song. Every person is my favorite in this group.😂😊🎉
I believe I read that the high pitched instrument sound was Chance...
I agree! If u didn’t kno any better u would think they are lying lol. It’s amazing how they can make this sounds without instruments 🔥🔥
The reason you know “baritone” vs “bass” may be there are not that many true bass singers compared to baritones. 💜
True, true. U spot on wit that one ❤️🙏🏾
Amazing Grace with Home Free and Peter Hollens.
Got it 🤝🏾
I have always love this by B2M but I have to say I love this cover more!, so good. Their talent is so above every other a cappella group out there and I truly mean no disrespect but it’s just the truth.
Agreed! I was saying the same thing. They definitely sound better, respectfully 🙏🏾
They killed this! BoyZ II Men should be proud! Love your reaction!
Thank u so much and I agree! Definitely a 10/10 performance 🔥
They killed this. When they were on the NBC show the Sing Off (they won in 2013) Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men was a judge and he loved them. I think they did justice to the song. Tim Foust is the bass and has a 5 octave range so he can sing super low and then sing high up with the tenors. Rob (lead here) killed it. We call him “gospel Rob”. Try Children Go Where I Send Thee (with Kenny Rogers), Blue Ain’t Your Color (a little more bluesy), How Great Thou Art, Mary Did You Know. So many good songs. Lots of covers but they also write and sing their own music too. Playing with Fire is a new one that’s so good. Good reaction!😍
Much appreciated for the suggestions. I’ll be getting to them very soon
How Great Thou Art and also Amazing Grace are beautiful by Home Free. You will love Tim's bass voice on How Great Thou Art.
Appreciate that. I can’t wait to knock those out!
You have just only started with these guy's brother!!!! They will blow your mind. 🤯
I’m already knowing! I’m only 2 songs in and I’m hooked 😅
"How Great Thou Art", "Children, Go Where I Send Thee", and even their cover of "Take Me Home Country Roads" all have a different kind of gospel feel and/or influence. Each is ridiculously good. Loving the reactions ~ thanks. 🍟
Much love and thanks for continuing the support as well as giving great suggestions ❤️🍟🙏🏾
the bass is Tim Foust. He has been known to break speakers performing live. check out ring of fire . a johnny cash cover. you will not believe the low notes he hits.
A few other ppl told me that too! It’s insanely talented to be able to sing notes so low that it breaks speakers🤯
For Gospel definitely "How Great Thou Art" which is beautiful, and "Children Go Where I Send Thee" which features the late Kenny Rogers. Great reaction. Liked and subscribed.
Much appreciated ❤️🙏🏾
That's Tim with the bass/baritone.. lol.. Lord knows they Kill this Song... amazing cover.
Thanks and I agree! They gotta that 1 of 1 talent easily
SOME OF GOSPEL SONGS ARE; HOW GREAT THOU ART, AMAZING GRACE, ANGELS AMONG US, MY CHURCH, GO REST HIGH ON THAT MOUNTAIN, AND MANY MORE...ENJOY!!!!!
Much appreciated 🤝🏾
Someone's probably already said this.. but to get the true versatility of the group, check out "The Butts Medley" and "Brother In Arms". Both will have you crying, but in completely different ways. Great reactions, can't wait for more 😃
Most definitely. Thank u for that and I’ll be getting them on the channel soon as well as others
If you want more of Tim’s incredible Bass, check out Misty Mountains by Peter Holden’s, featuring Tim Foust. Shot during COVID, they were in two separate locations. Peter sings all of the higher parts, then layers them in the studio (sometimes more than 100 tracks). Then Tim comes in with his phenomenal Bass. Pay close attention to the LAST note! I have NO doubt that you will LOVE it!!!
Much appreciated! I’ll definitely be checking it out
How Great Thou Art and Mary Did You Know are both great gospel style.
Thank u. I got those written down and I’ll be checking em out soon
How great thou art...phenomenal
Fasho! I’ll be taking a look at that one
Great reaction.
Thanks so much 🙏🏾

This is one of HF masterpieces!! One of many
For sure! They knocked this one out the park 🔥
Closest to real gospel might be Kenny Rogers/Home Free “Children Go Where I Send Thee” or Texas Hill/Home Free “Go Tell It On the Mountain”. Please consider the mashup of Thinking Out Loud/Let’s Get It On. 💜
Will do! Thanks for those suggestions
Rob took it to church in the end so good
Absolutely! I loved it
Thanks for listening ... and learning about great accapella music!
Very welcome & thank u and everyone else for supporting abd suggesting great music ❤️🙏🏾🙏🏾
They sing go rest high on tut mountains
I plan to check that one out soon. I appreciate it ❤️🙏🏾
How Great Thou Art is the best (filmed in Austria). Amazing Grace with Peter Hollens. Go Rest High on that Mountain (tear jerker)
Thank u for those suggestions
Check out When A Man Loves A Woman…..The best since the original….❤
Got that one dropping next 😎
The oldest one of theirs I can think of is "Joy to the World" (circa 2013). They also have videos of "Amazing Grace" (with Peter Hollens), "How Great Thou Art", "O Holy Night", "Mary Did You Know", "Go Tell It on the Mountain" (with Texas Hill) and "Beautiful Star of Bethlehem" (with the Oak Ridge Boys).
Appreciate that. I’ll take a look at all of those
Try "Butt Medley", "Ring Of Fire" (ft. Avi Kaplan for lots of bass), "What We Ain't Got", "Listen To The Music" and "Elvira" (with The Oak Ridge Boys, the original singers of the song).
Thank u. I’ll be checking them all out
I know they do a great job with this, not one of my choices though, lots of songs to choose from!
Fasho. I’m going further down the rabbit hole
Listen to how great thou art
Will do!
My favorite reduction of How Great Thou Art.
My oldest living sister(mid 80's), who spends at least 3 days in church, praised them for how they did that song.
@corawilhelm4968 that’s amazing! I gotta check that one out real soon
I thought I'd give you the guys names. Front row left to right Tim Foust bass (has a 5 octave range). Rob Lundquist lead tenor (beard and glasses). Austin Brown sky high tenor. Back row left to right Adam Rupp beatboxer and Adam Chance (Chance) baritone. This is my first reaction of yours I've done and I really enjoyed watching it.
Thank u so much and thanks for explaining everything 🙏🏾
@@RetroQuinReacts no problem
How Great Thou Art is beautiful…
Thanks. Got that one locked in to do soon
Great reaction, they sing several gospel songs. How Great Thou Art, Amazing Grace, Do You Hear What I Hear, Mary, Did You Know, O Holy Night , Beautiful Star of Bethlehem and Children, Go Where I Send Thee. A couple are Christmas but all amazing.
Much appreciated. I’ll be doing all of those eventually 🙏🏾
Try ' Children Go Where I Send Thee' with the late Kenny Rogers for a gospel song.
Thank u. That’s been the main one suggested so far. Might knock that out first
How Great Thou Art
Got it!
Rob went absolutely beast mode. This cover is simply out of this world. My jaw hit the floor when this video first dropped.
For sure! They get a perfect score for this one. Absolutely amazing 🔥
Gospel?
They do one you learned a LONG time ago that will blow your mind. Filmed in the Austrian Alps and it's as beautiful as that song you know.
How Great Thou Art.
They also do some great Christmas songs as well!
Appreciate that. I’m working on a list now and those are most definitely up there
as for Gospel covers...well they have 3 that I consider in the Gospel range, but all 4 are what I consider Christmastime videos. You might want to hold off on those for a few more weeks....they are... Beautiful Star of Bethlehem (a collab with the Oak Ridge Boys), then there is "Children, go where I send thee" a collab with the late Kenny Rogers, then also "What Christmas means to me" a cover of a 1967 Stevie Wonder classic, and finally a song not too gospel, but has definite R & B vibes, and that is their recent original "Playing with fire"
Thank u for these suggestions. I see the name too. Miami looking good at the start of the season 😎
Love your spirit and your comments -- and your beautiful voice. For HF's most traditional gospel sound: Children, Go Where I Send Thee (with Kenny Rogers!), My Church; two great tunes with Texas Hill: Giving Up on You and Go Tell It On the Mountain. Gospel + motown/blues: their covers of Folsom Prison Blues (Johnny Cash) and Blue Ain't Your Color (Keith Urban).
Appreciate that so much. I’ll be looking into all of these suggestions soon
They sing, "Mary did you know". They sing "Oh Holy Night". Put your reaction pants on.
Lol most definitely. I got those locked in!
After watching a couple of videos I'm gonna get you a t-shirt that says "come on man!"
Lol I gotta get that trademarked soon. That’s one of my sayings right there nie 😅
Wonderful reaction! Your joy is palpable! For old gospel I recommend HF with country giant, Kenny Rogers singing the classic Spiritual, “ Children Go Where I Send Thee”. It slaps big time!
I appreciate that so much! I’ll be checking out those suggestions too. Can’t wait to get into more Home Free. They are beyond amazing ❤️
Goosebumps perfection!!
Absolutely!!
Can’t wait to see more HF reactions!!
Most deffly! I got more coming soon
I really enjoyed your reaction! Children Go Where I Send Thee is a good gospel song and Go Tell it On the Mountain with Texas Hill is amazing too!
Much appreciated & glad that u enjoyed. Thanks so much for those suggestions as well 🙏🏾
Try their, When A Man Loves A Woman
Got that one locked and loaded. It’ll be coming out soon 🙏🏾
They do an amazing version of Amazing Grace and How Great Thou Art, also O Holy Night. They do so many other covers, and originals just fall down that rabbit hole, and you will not be disappointed.
For sure! At this point I can’t go wrong with them no matter what I choose
New Sub for Home Free! :)
Thank u so much ❤️🙏🏾
This is an amazing cover. Rob really shines in this as do all the guys. CK out How Great Thou Art and Do you Hear What I Hear. Two fantastic songs. ❤️❤️❤️
Thank u. I’ll be checking out those songs soon. They really outdone themselves wit this one for sure
Loved the joy that this reaction brought to you! Like most of us Home Fries, it’s hard not to grin from ear to ear!
New 🇨🇦 Sub, here to ride-along on your journey down this fantastic rabbit hole. Their catalogue is deep and varied with many genres (beyond the country lane many want to box them into). Beyond their wonderful covers (we call them upgrades), they are always very generous with their collaborations making sure to have the featured (at times the original artist(s)) truly shine; not to mention their ever-increasing collection of outstanding originals!! Beyond the mostly gospel suggestions already given here are some other MUSTS to add to your list:
Covers:
I Can’t Outrun You and Helplessly Hoping (I believe both were arranged by Chance, as well as the video concept/direction by Chance) - both with breathtaking 5-part harmony
Listen to the Music
Can’t Stop the Feeling
Take Me Home Country Roads
Castle on the Hill
Collaborations:
God Bless the USA feat. Lee Greenwood and the USAF Singing Sargeants and American Pie feat. Don McLean - both done in different states during Covid!
Delta Dawn feat. Brooke Eden
The Horses feat. Travis Collins and Amy Sheppard (filmed in Australia this past Spring) and
Dreamer LIVE at the Ryman feat. Texas Hill, where Tim does a great introduction - this is also an original
Originals:
Why Not
Catch Me If You Can
Dive Bar Saints
Leave This Town
Understand
Road Sweet Road
So Long Dixie
Might As Well Be Me (please pause to read their bios and for their written answers, it adds to the hilarity and you/we will enjoy it all the more) and finally,
Playing With Fire - whew, it’s hot! ❤️🔥
You will continue to discover that Home Free can sing anything and they never disappoint! You will cry tears of laughter and possibly tears of sadness on some, but you won’t stop being amazed.
I greatly appreciate the support and thanks so much for this detailed list ❤️❤️
If you can find the whole video of when they were on the "Sing Off" that would let you learn about each singer.
They have changed people since then since Chris Rupp left and they added Adam Chance. You would really like their version of Ring of Fire with Avi Kaplan.
Thank u. I’ll be searching for that for sure
Just amazing that they are accapella
Exactly! That adds a completely dynamic to what they do!
