Great tutorial bro. The feont bumper cover isnt too hard to remove either. Just a few push pins and the bottom screws to the skid plate. Oh...MIZ!!!!!!
This car is called a Ford Mondeo in Europe and we call this part a wing panel. I couldn't find this video until I found out the American name was Fusion.
There's a few places that you can get them. 1 being a junkyard to much work looking for the car with one in the right color/condition. 2. E bay that's your best bet. 3 would be online for a factory replacement or jma racing for carbon fiber ones but they are pricey for those there.
How did you align the fender to the hood in the front corner by the head lights. I replaced my fender but can’t get that aluminum square piece at the top to bolt and align with the hood.
Luis Aguilar I’m not exactly sure what you’re referring to. But, the top bolts which are accessible from the hood after removing rain guard thingy, can be loosened and will give you some playing room. Maybe about 3/8 inch. Sorry if that didn’t help. Good luck.
Weekend Kev thanks ! Yeah were the rain guard plastic is, there’s that top bolt on the corner by the headlights. It is attached with the little square aluminum piece on the fender. Can’t get it to bolt on causing my fender to stick out at a angle & not align with the hood.
@@LuisAguilar-wy4ef Hi Luis, put all of you bolts in hand tight, when you have all your bolts into position then you can use a spanner to tighten them all down?
I used a ratchet for one of them and a wrench for the other. They are hard to get to. The one I worked on had ground effects I reached behind it to access the bots. A small ratchet was crucial for this job. One with a lot of points would help also for those.
yes it would've been better if you video taped the process. Mine is a little different because it is the SE model and has chrome on that corner piece behind the mirror. Need to figure out how to release that piece without popping at the chrome.
