- Jetliner buzzes Papa John Stadium in Louisville just as U2 hit's their stride with "Where The Streets Have No Name". Goosebumps abound...one of the most epic concert openings ever!
I was at that show and don't remember the 747 flying over. I must have been too immersed in the awesomeness that is Streets to have noticed!
Was there, near stage, an incredible show...

Francesco Prochilo a lot actually, they all start the show there, Bono goes up and down from the b stage to the a stage and they also end the show at the smaller stage
Crew from that 74 was in the crew van with me the next day. They’ve been enjoying their new found fame. They told me to say “you are welcome”

Really? Your making that up. Why would they name a spy plane after the band U2? If only Kennedy had a U2 spy plane. He could have flown over Cuba during the Cuba missiles crisis and got a birds eye view of the missiles.
A cool sight! But I do have to add a 'nerdy technicality' that adds no value: this wasn't the opening to the concert, it was the transition to The Joshua Tree portion of the concert :)...I know, 'no one cares, Karen' but I just had to post it....
