  • The Grand Teton is the crown jewel of Grand Teton National Park and a fitting place for an adventurous reunion with Blake. With around 7,000ft of climbing and some treacherous ice and snow at the summit, Blakes knee’s and nerves will be tested. Aaron also tags along to add an element of nostalgia and to observe Blakes first big day in the mountains in 3 years. The Grand Teton can be dangerous. The weather can quickly change on the Tetons, lightning and snow can happen at almost anytime and we weren’t spared. A snowstorm at the beginning of August blessed us with a small, dangerous layer of snow and ice on the top 3rd of the Owen Spalding route. But with the help of caffeine and some friendly strangers we managed to summit and retreat back to our car unharmed.

Anyone who complains about someone complaining in the mountains on a big day is a hypocrite and has not had a real big (painful) day in the mountains when you know the only way back is through a lot more pain. Good to see him back

"But I turned around because I was afraid" - SO appreciate this honesty and transparency. It's always okay to say no/go back if you're not fully comfortable with the situation. Epic video, as always 👏

Welcome back Blake! We passed by you on our way up the approach as you were descending but didn’t realize it was the amateurs until it was too late. But we briefly talked with you talking about pooping, so I’ll cherish that moment forever

Blake the legend, welcome back. We all love your whining. I am surprised you did not complain about sleep and food.

The reason I like the blizz is cause of his unimpressed attitude. This vid makes me glad to be in canada where the mountains are not full of people

The blizzzzzzzz! My favorite mediocre. Can’t wait to hear more stories about Blake’s mom and watch him jump in ice lakes. Also for the record, my two favorite mediocre moments are Blake whining and Danny puking. Keep it up. Love watching you guys.

Zach & Anna need to make an encore appearance, maybe on some gnarly peak in ID.

This peak really unpredictable! Went up the Upper Exum in near perfect weather conditions in early August, but smoke seeded a hail/snow thunderstorm which came in around 9:45am while we were 3 pitches up. No way to bail till like pitch 5 or something, and had no idea where the exit chute was to the OS (plus it was basically white out conditions). Got contact electrocuted through the rock by lighting and still have permanent nerve damage on of my toes from frostbite. I have a picture of me standing at the exact spot at
