I've been wanting to explore outside in the liminal versions of these maps for a while now but it's taken some time to figure out how to incorporate it on the channel. Dev Tricks and Secrets is the kind of series where a lot can be done so I feel it just fits. There are a lot of hidden secrets that tell the story of how these experimental modes were created and I hope you enjoy exploring them as much as I did.

Fun fact: the Buried spawn room can be accessed legitimately in grief mode. I can’t remember exactly how it’s done but I think it’s something to do with 1 player bleeding out, then his teammates and the enemy team complete the round and then once you spawn back in, the game will spawn you in the buried spawn room and the death barrier in the hole is removed so you can jump done and run around.
No it’s basically everyone in the game needs to die with grenades at the exact same spot if all want to access, I can always recreate this if it still exists lol love glitches

This is actually a cool video idea I hadnt even considered, its really interesting seeing all the little ways in which they tweak the maps for the different game modes
1:37 I wish they made the bollwing alley playable, at least for grief. That could have increased the lobby nymber for grief becuase grief was somewhat unpopular even back when the game itself was still huge

I would love to do more custom zombies content but I fear it won't do very well on my channel at this point. I miss it though, so I will be trying to incorporate them soon!!

I saw a comment that said that maybe there is like a thing that happens to all of the work benches on the TranZit map when loading up the side mode versions of the maps so no matter what survival map you’re on it covers all of the work benches that are apart of the main survival maps.
Grief is such a cool gamemode who agrees!

BO2 was peak CoD.
I've PLAYED MoTD Grief mode and I knew about the PhD machine, but SOMEHOW I never knew they actually put Mule Kick there too. Weird.

did you load into a hidden grief version of tranzit or did you load into town/farm? because if you just loaded into town/farm its weird that they'd both have missing models.
I actually started out on Farm and then ended with Town (the switch happened after I left Diner). I probably should've explained that in the video 😬
How'd you even load into Turned and Grief?
There’s a command “xpartygo” on plutonium that will start the game no matter how many people are in the lobby.
