It is very much like mourning... it's not easy to deal with, especially when there are children involved. Yes Cynthia has Noel, but Peter wasn't her dad and she was old enough to see her mom was not happy anymore. If you've ever had to be a parent and explain the absence of the other parent, to a small child or under age child whether it is due to death, incarceration, or divorce, it's hard.
The kids are definitely going through it. Ok now, not saying you're wrong in your opinion but just giving it to you from a divorcee's perspective. I'm remarried and happy now... but it took a long time to move past the hurt. So if someone tried to throw me a party, I'm sure I would have reacted similarly to Phaedra. Why does Phaedra or any one else have to be considerate of Kenya, she is grown and chooses to be by herself. (Probably to avoid rejection) I think she still out of line for the reactions she tries to pull out of these women and then plays innocent 😇 "what did I do?"

Christina Williams it's because Phaedra told Kenya all was forgiven when it truly wasn't and then instead of pulling her to the side and saying she didn't feel comfortable with the theme of the party she sends a text message not to Kenya but Porsha calling Kenya trifling. If all was forgiven and you were friends you should be able to talk about it.
Just because you forgive someone, doesn't mean you forget the offense. You can love a person from afar, and not be all buddy buddy, with them just because you say they are forgiven. I think Phaedra could deal with Kenya in a group setting and with no drama. But Kenya was very disrespectful when it came to Apollo and that was a sore spot and then all though coming from a good place, it just open that wound back up with the divorce party.

So Kenya should have the common decency to know that if they are going to have a clean slate, that Kenya has to know her boundaries with Phaedra.
