Every 5star owner and E-cells themselves owes you a big thank you for your “science based” testing of the 5star. They now know what the bike is capable of and should be able to sleep well. That’s a pretty nice helmet too. Who makes it?

Been considering one of these bikes, it would be my 1st ebike. You dont see many videos where people are using them mainly on dirt roads with mixed in hills. Would love to see a video dedicated to more of the offroad use to see the capabilities & distance.
In my opinion, thats where these bikes are at their best. Fire roads , gravel, etc. I wouldn't do much real singletrack or hardcore off roading, but they are good at a lot of terrain.

Looks like the kick stand came down on the landing of that last jump. I would love to find a better alternative that stays up, and doesn't bounce every time you hit a bump.
Sadly that whole area is full of stuff from camps. One section of the railroad tracks someone dug up and cut out some copper wires to sell off. Its ridiculous
@@shootthechit I am not sure yet, working with David to try and figure it out. The cadence sensor stopped working, and it's been taking off on it's own. It ran into my garage door last night when I left it on and unattended for a few seconds.

@@TheTcat1000 I know I bent the wheels on my Freedom fairly easy, not sure if the newer models are dual wall, but other than that It probably can. I wouldn't want to do it with the 2nd battery in place
They're pretty comparable. If I was buying new, I'd probably go for the ecellls. The base bike is a bit better (I like the controller housing particularly), I think it comes with the front basket, and they give some cool upgrade options if you're into any of them (ex: $100 for cadence sensor). Plus with CTC's discount code, it's a pretty good buy (although I assume there are still wired freedom codes out there from other channels). However, if you already have a wired freedom, you're not really missing much.
They are comparable, but there are a few places where I think the E-Cells is better. The frame is more solid, and has a lifetime warranty. The rear suspension triangle is substantially beefier on the E-Cells, and the wheels are double wall and a lot stronger than the wheels on the Wired.
Nevermind buddy i figured it out, i had ecell change out bmx handle bars for crown handle bars, when they changed those for me, the electrical harnes was removed and put back on, the power button was installed upside down! Innocent mistake All good now 👍

Cadence sensor, from what I've heard I would stick with cadence (at least on this bike)
So what...you against the wired freedom, haven't heard you talk bout it since the five star came out.
E Cells has AWD bikes for real off-road. Too bad they don't have Regen.
I have regen on my emoto, and rarely use it. It is nice for prolonged downhills when you want to control your speed though.
