How do I thank God For tthe gift of prayer that aided me to manage a patient who refused to talk,refused every offer,including medication and food but at last accepted his robe as I touched his cold hands,then gradually allowed me to reheat his cold beakfast until after eating,he asked for his meds,and as I notified the med RN ,only then l learned he was suicidal,to everyone's amazement for he was like that for 3days now,little did they know how appreciative he was for my attention to him and none of the staff knew that he was attracted to my religious beliefs,and as shared my Catholic faith he asked me to help him get in,privately Itold an elderly Jesuit Father ,he was not surprised how A Filipino nurse can covert A Jewish to Catholic Christianity. He was so willing to guide that patient.he was baptized very privately of course be fore he died over a year later.praise God from Whom all blessings flow
