Your particular style is the one that is my favourite; ink and watercolour.
I loved how you understated the water portion and it looked terrific especially the hint of reflection of the trees. I always find in my sketches that the "wheels fall off" when I try to tackle bodies of water.
You've inspired me to try a different way of painting water.

Nice piece. What do you think of the khadi papers after this sketching ? I have the same sketchbook and it handles water and colors pretty well but crinkles a bit…
Thank you! I like how it stays wet for a long time and the texture is beautiful! It is definitely a bit too thin though, worried about painting on both sides, but will try it out for longer and see ❤️

This is Khadi papers which is 100%cotton watercolor paper

I am beginner and i want to start sketching, but I have no experience buying painting equipment.
can you tell me the size of your brushes jillee ?
In this video For Cotman I use size 0,4,8(round),6mm1/4”(filbert), the bigger brushes are made in China are size 1&2
