I don't care what anyone says, I enjoy this game! However, I'll admit there's some gameplay issues such as a terribly awkward aiming system made worse by the way enemies move all over the place making it frustrating trying to hit anything! Apart from that the game oozes so much charm and style. It's worth playing for the soundtrack, brutal takedowns and cutscenes, which are well-acted and directed in an impressively stylish way. It really is a nostalgia trip back to the mid-2000s "gangsta" game craze.

I like this one myself. The dumpster shield/ram was an interesting mechanic that I haven't seen elsewhere. Plus a nice loadout of weapons and larger than life characters.

I love how there's more gore in Bulletproof compared to Blood on the Sand, and I will never get over Eminem being the corrupt cop.
I think Bulletproof is a far superior game in terms of story, characters, setting and style. Gameplay was smoother in Blood in the Sand but that's it really.

Massive 50 Cent Bulletproof fan. Spoke to the creative director about the game. He is a big fan of 50's music. 50 loved working on the game. There was a LOT cut from the game over halfway into development. It was going to be much more open world, more interactive and have more strategy to it. This game isn't really that bad. I just hate the camera and aiming. This game was really fun.

I've really appreciated during the 2000s the whole cinematic approach they'd taken and how they mimicked all kinds of camera angles, it something most games these days lack.

Saints Row 1 and 2 kept it up to par after 05 but after Saints Row 2 they lost they way. And Scarface on PS2 was gangsta. Mafia might be the last gangsta game.

This game is one of my all time favorite, right behind came blood on the sand. But bulletproof was one of the best ps2 games I ever played. Every mission and part of the story is good and well worth playing I must have beat this game a million times. You can also listen to every one of his songs on hear at the time of his career. 50 bring the games back yo🤦🏾♂️🔥🔥

And he also thought the game was allright for kids because it teaches them the "harsh" reality of being a gangsta. I wish 50 could just patch things up with the rest of the Unit and give us the PROPER Bulletproof sequel for the PS5 that we really deserved many years ago. I still remember... living in San Antonio, Texas, It was November/December 2005 and I was 7 years old in the 2nd grade and I saw this game at the BX on base and it had a whole display standing cardboard for copies of this game for PS2 and XBox. I asked my mom if I could get the game and she bought for me. I still remember the cashier at the store who we spoke with all the time and he said to me as he scanned the game "now don't let this man hurt you" in a jokingly manner. 😂😂 Going on 17 years later, I wonder what that man is up to today... 🤔 Anyway, this game raised me and some of my closest childhood friends from back in the good ol' days. Now at 24 years old, I still think about this game and how amazing the vibe of it was. Flaws and all, I love this game... wish it was longer though! 😂😂
Blood on the Sand came out 2009 it had good graphics and gameplay. Bulletproof just had more blood and a hood gangsta story.

It's gonna be good time watching this. 2000's crime and gangster game was really my thing lmao I just love it, despite most of em now being look at as a "outdated and bad" from others. (also this game looks clean in 60fps too! is it a pain in the bum when you config the game?)
Using the developer build 1.7.2 it works great with Vulkan and runs smoother than the official 1.6.0 release.
