Awesome video EXE-Edits! I can't believe people still say baseball is a dying sport. The energy and enthusiasm brought by guys like Ohtani, Tatis Jr., and Vlad Jr. is making baseball as exciting as its ever been for me, and baseball consumption is now up big time. We're in a really good place.

Yeah I agree 100% here. Baseball isnt dying. If anything its going through a revitalization period right now. The face of baseball has changed for the better. Ohtani, Vlad Jr, Tatis, and others have made baseball fun and exciting to watch again.
We went to a Padre game last week, sold out on a Thursday night. We got to see one of the craziest Padre comebacks in their history. The fans stuck around and serenaded the team for 45 minutes after the game ended. It was ELECTRIC in San Diego and thats been the feeling in a lot of cities this spring. Baseball is back!

The camera work at 5:22 and 6:48 when they film Perez and Ohtani is absolutely incredible. It looks like a movie, It looks better than real life, If anyone knows or has any idea how they are pulling this wizardry off please let meknow,
I think because both those shots the large background crowds are out of focus with the contrast of the super crisp shot of the players
4K cameras NFL uses them on big games

Nobody is giving you correct answers, and its not '4k camera' lol... Basically they are using a super wide aperture lens, like f/1.2 or f/1.4, that would usually be used in portraits and still shots for weddings and all that jazz. Throw in camera body stabilization as well as stabilization rigs worn by operators (since those lenses often lack stabilization due to design) and you get an incredible shot. Also, it's probably using a full frame sensor which gives it a crystal clear image, not the '4k-ness'. It may even be shot at 1080p just because full frame cameras running 4k can overheat easily and struggle with those settings.
You could get a shot VERY similar to this with a 50mm/1.8 Canon lens and an entry level DSLR. Might need an ND filter to do it at daytime though.

Why didn't they go with what works, and just wear their regular team uniforms? In an NL ballpark, the NL wears their home whites, and the AL wears their road grays, and vice versa if they're in an AL ballpark. Isn't that what they'd been doing for the previous 90 ASGs?

Now to think last night would've been back and forth between scoring plays, but the haunting of Ronald Acuna Jr's season ending ACL injury before break really struck the death nail to the NL's chances of winning. But it was truly a memorable all star break in Colorado, with all the controversy at first when the MLB announced it was moving its festivities from Atlanta to Denver. Who knows what next year could hold for both the AL and the NL all star teams, but for now... Let us commence the countdown to the second half of the 162 game regular season
