This take off is wrong on so many levels: #1 Fails his preflight check to notice the twist (or atleast remember which way he turns) #2 Fails to stabalize and control the wing above him before launching #3 Fails his final equipment check to notice the twist or any other issue #4 Fails to kill his wing despite failing #2 & #3 #5 Fails to kill his wing when loosing his footing and even worse decides to rush his take off. Don't let the wing choose your fate, be in control of your fate. Thanks for sharing :) !
it looks to me like he did know which way to turn and began turning the correct way, but the wing came up cobra and initially flew toward the camera - pulling him backwards toward the camera/down the hill and span him the wrong way.
At least he didn't make the most serious fail of them all: flying in dangerous meteorological conditions, therefore all his fails weren't very likely to result in an accident.

As a pilot, I think you should always keep risk at a minimum by improving every aspect. When I take off, i don't rely on luck I rely on my skills. You have many types of risks that need to be mitigated not just meteorological risks, most accidents are mainly caused by piloting errors and usually a build up of errors too. Don't get me wrong, I'm all about taking risks in this sport, but calculated and controled ones. No issues in 19 years of paragliding so far 🤞
I've noticed that almost ALL the pilots do not know how to take off. You should be 90 degrees to the wind and pull one side of the parafoil into the wind which will eventually inflate the entire wing that then naturally squares up to the wind over the pilot's head. The pilot should make sure the wind is stable and not rocking back or forward. Many pilots inflate their winds, look up once and start running, unaware of the fact that the wing has rocked forward, and is producing negative lift. Considering how high the stakes are in paragliding, this type of ignorance is unacceptable.
Ganz ehrlich, sowas kann und darf eigentlich nicht passieren, wenn man ein routinierter Pilot ist... Stichwort "Muscle memory" Stichwort " Groundhandling"...wenn so jemand in bockige Frühjahrsthermik kommt wars das. Null Feeling fürs Material... Aber ist vielleicht auch dem schlechten Ausbildungsstandard geschuldet...ich finde, das gehört reformiert, dann würde sowas vielleicht weniger passieren 😊
für "gleitshrimp 7676"........ = mal wieder so ein dumpfbackener zweihändiger Rundumschlag eines gefrusteten youtouber's bei schlechter Laune rausgelassen ................?.....= das kann übrigens auch bei einem A-Schirm passieren.....zentral wäre die Frage, ob Andre die Konsequenzen aus dem fail gezogen oder nicht / zudem: haste eine Ahnung, wie viele stark motorisierte Autos noch auf der Strasse rumfahren würden bzw. dürften wenn konsequent nach Deinen Vorstellungen gehandelt würde ? / = dann hätten wir nämlich das Paradies auf Erden auf den Strassen !!
