- hello it's nina and i'm back!! back with a wholesome vlog of another week in uc berkeley.
this video is actually a couple weeks old it's just the semester is ending so it's been very hectic so i haven't had much time to edit this video. i wrote two entire papers within the span of four days because of procrastination and it was a giant mess and then i had to come up with a proposal for another paper that's due a few weeks from now bUT IT'S OKAY!!! WE PERSEVERE!!
i hope you enjoy me consecutively going to class late and jamming to kpop and studying :')
i missed being on youtube so MUCH i hated being away but bc of college i didn't really have a choice :'( it's all okay tho right now all the difficult stuff kind of ended so now it's a little more chill as i'm just ending the semester and preparing for finals. HOPE Y'ALL HAVE BEEN WELL!! i missed u :')

Weirdest part about college life:
I can wake up and be on time to a 7:30am class
But is always 5-10mins late to a 9:30am class

Your drive to school is an hour and thirty minutes??? Wow! I have had a commute that long for a job and I have the most respect for how difficult that must be. I couldn't imagine how early you have to get up to get there and how tired you feel at the end of the day. Adding studying/homework, home chores and youtube to the mix, WOW!!! You have got to I(in the future when you have time) sit down and tell us how in the world you made time to get everything done. Take good care of your health: mentally and physically. I definitely know how a long distance commute can burn you out.You, your family and school are more important than youtube. You should be proud of what you have accomplished. I wish you success with all of your goals. Take care!
Unmmm... I take 3hrs going to my uni.. I consume 6hrs a day on commute... Its really sad...

yeah i was thinking the same
I'm not her but I can recommend focusing on just doing your own thing when you go to school overall. Of course making friends is important, but personally I was never able to keep school friendships for long and in the end you're mainly there to get good grades. Once I focused more on my own future and the work school put on my shoulders, instead of unnecessary school kid drama, I did much better. It just depends on each person and the people you're surrounded by, some make friends who care about education as much (or as little lol) as you and y'all can go studying together and hang out after.
But I do feel like Nina is the kind of person who kinda just minds her own business most of the time. She seems very focused on school and educating herself.
@@83uwb what you said is so true, i recently started going to college alone and just doing my own thing and i realised that its soo much better because i focus and understand and work better. sometiles your friends kinda hold u back.
@@keuzl I'm happy things are working out well for you! It surely will have a positive impact on your future. I've noticed that usually people consider others who mainly mind their own business to be a weirdo or something which I never really understood. Some people just prefer being in their own world and make friends elsewhere. And this can be adapted to future jobs as well, the concept of "You'll have to learn to work with others" people keep shoving into students' faces isn't something I've ever been fond of. Some people simply do better on their own. I feel like school kind of socially pressures people to find groups and gang up or something lol. If we're not in a group project I'm minding my own business and others can mind theirs. It ain't a bad thing to be alone when you choose to be.

@@83uwb yes sometimes being alone is much better than being surrounded by people tho it was hard in the beginning since i have social phobia but its nothing i cant get over. its good to see im not alone in thinking like this.

You must live in the 'burbs. I also used to commute to school by car and I remember parking always was a problem. If I had to do it now I would take the bus, even if I had to drive to the nearest bus stop to start the commute. Fighting parking is a drag. At least buses are roughly on time.
gosh i love your videos so so much i'm really not fond of vlog videos or going through a journey with someone while they're filming it but with you i never get bored your personality is so attracting and appealing .. watching your videos feels so comfy and intimate that i always find myself looking forward to the next video no matter what content it holds i love u so much nina ! *hug*

I always watch your videos when I'm studying or having a bad day, your so relaxing and your aesthetic is **Everything** . I get anxious and procrastinate easily (like many people) and have no motivation 90% of the time, but (and I know its kinda dumb lol) your calm, smart, cute ways inspire me to be like that-- I've organized my room, made my notes prettier, I'm more motivated to learn and exist in a healthier way.
