His very allegiances and past is less known than the most mysterious and important character. He resides right in Kingdom Hearts and might be the one to end the world. Demyx is his new name.

The true Ending really made me tear-jerked, it's sad that they died... This game, let alone a FF game, is the saddest I've ever played regarding war and conflicts, friendships and tragedies, hope and despair. I couldn't believe I even survived the massive blow to my heart, because that Ending hit me HARD. So, that's the Alternate Ending. I didn't want to beat the game again since I got the Platinum Trophy, and because I have many other games to catch up on. But seriously, is that really Ace at the end?! Holy crap, that outfit and the flames and the feathers, it looks so freaking epic! That scene alone should be in an epic movie or game with fantasy themes and magic! But I'm confused, though, how is he alive in that Alternate Ending?
Square enix has trademarked type-1 and type-2 so we can assume that there will be two more games and that Tabata and his team will begin working on the next two games after Final Fantasy 15 releases
I like this ending too. School, love, confessing, mail, clubs, friendship, gossiping, and the only grieving is heartbroken. Rather than students died in battle and war.

Device Demon You need a second play through, complete the game again to the alternate ending route. You will get this ending and the arise teaser for the possible sequel if your playing HD, just watch out to the bad ending and you'll get this good ending.
Just because she removed the crystals from Orience doesn't mean they didn't have alternate worlds as back ups. Perhaps the last scene is from one of those alternates. Each world was set up differently in hopes that at least one of them would produce the desired results thus the appearance of Samurai Ace and a more feudal Japan type setting.
That’s exactly the point, it’s another “spiral” or in type-0 terminology another timeline of events where war wasn’t around. Where class 0 wasn’t a group of kids meant to fight in war. They’re just teenagers in this timeline.

It really is one of the best FF games. It had a rocky start though, bombarding us with information, a large cast of protagonists with attitudes making it hard to sympathize with them. But, like with real people and the real world, it is in exploring this world and getting to know your comrades that you develope and feelibgs and understandment. Unfortunately MANY didnt play more than 20 hours, bot even passing chapter 3, and returned the game ir gave it bad reviews without giving it a chance. Can't stand gamers with the attention span of 3 year olds. But i do think, despute that, the game has succeeded and will continue to do so. I want that success to move them to develop Type Next!
8 years later I'm here rewatching Ace's resurrection scene after seeing footage of Final Fantasy XVI. I think we're finally getting to see what could have been a sequel/what-if of Type-0 in the form of FFXVI
Lol I thought I was the only one who was reminded of type-0 as I was watching XVI gameplays. The whole dark and bloody setting and kingdoms having weapons of war in the form of l'cie/dominants. Not to mention the whole fire element being the main character's element.
Glad to see that I'm not the only one who noticed these details. Some of Ace's animations really remind me of Clive (holding the phoenix feather) and the phoenix tail (Joshua's phoenix tail whenever he's in battle). Really happy that the devs got the chance to portray these dark elements in FFXVI but would be even better if we did get some kind of glimpse into the Type-0 sequel..
This ending is definitely less sad, but I like the true ending too... though it was pretty crushig. (But hey, the intro with Izana was even worse, I think O_O) This game was an emotinal rollercoaster - I loved it ^^ By the way, I don't understand the hate Machina gets. He was the only one who felt truly human to me, not willing to forget his brother and looking for ansers. I could understand his anger - I pretty much felt the same after I watched the intro and later on Class 0's reactions to it.

I was annoyed by him here and there and he is NOT my favorite character of the game, but I liked him for bringing a Human aspect to the game's story. Same reason why I liked Rem. Class 0 and basically everyone doesn't remember the deceased. And I found that crushing and sad and one of the game's darkest aspects. I was thankful for both Machina and Rem trying to search for answers and being selfish enough to become L'Cie (which by the way, Rem did too. In the end they fought against each other - both of them - I don't see why that's only Machina's fault but whatever... not saying that I liked all his decisions though). I expected Class 0 to have some respect for the deceased and not be like 'Well, yes, so he died, your problem, not mine'. To ask questions and to question what they do. Just as Machina was the commandant's puppet, Class 0 was Dr. Al-Rashia's puppet or the whole academy's. Why is being a puppet of them better than being a puppet of the other? By the way, pointing out that I could just google for reasons of why to hate Machina is pretty useless. To throw in another example,everyone bascially kisses the virtual floor Kingdom Hearts' Riku is walking on, but I absolutely despise him. Googling for hundred reasons on why to love him, won't make me like him. Just as googling 100 reasons on why to hate Machina won't make me hate Machina.

The KING the thing with"secret endings" on context of "Were making multiple games/movies/books that are interconnected" is the secret endings DO become the true. I still think XIII, Type-0/HD, and XV are interconnected. It's a long and tricky path, but I do lean towards what Final Fantasy Peasant is saying about XV and XIII trilogy, plus there had to be a reason they added this ending, I don't think this was ever in before the HD. Plus I do think we'll see another Type-0 game.
There's rumors that there will be a Type-NEXT but Square Unix has not realeased any information that they were going to take on the project but hopefully, when FF7 Remake is close to releasing we will get good news that this 'Ace' and FF Type-NEXT will be born*^* hopefully because the hype for it is already here.

Wow. So many familiar VAs here. Some of the ones who worked on previous FF media (Dissdia and Advent Children, to name a few) are even back too. What blew my mind the most is Zidane = Machina and Bartz = Izana XD
LunaHavoc Ba'ul i can't stand him too the first time i played the game, but if you read the novel that told the events in the previous time loop, i think you'll understand why machina acted like he did in the game (or at least tolerate his actions). personally i think it's really sad how the feeling of the previous loop's machina, who wanted to be stronger so that he could protect his friends in class zero--so that no one will sacrifice their lives again for him, manifested wrongly and became twisted like in the game.
I'm pretty sure you get this secret ending by either doing a second game play of the game, or how I did it. I unlocked this ending and I'm guessing it's because I played as Ace basically all throughout the game, leveled him up the highest, and unlocked many achievements with him. Since I assume, I don't exactly know, that this is Ace in the samurai outfit, I would guess you need to play as him as much as possible in the game. This is just how I unlocked the secret ending.
Jak plasma, after they died arecia did something that (i think) destroyed the crystals or something wich caused the war to never happen, so that gave class another chance in life. Hope that helped :)

The only thing I don't like about Type 0 is how there is literally nothing to do until ng+, almost everythign can only be done in ng+ or higher. I love the RTS missions but most of them are new game + only.
Ace might be with a new team or class zero because in the video before u get to the home screen at the end Ace say "we have arrived" and at the end with the true ending with rem and machina I believe Ace or some one else say "we are here" if u want to use this for something else like steam or something make sure u say u got it from me and also when they pose that's when Ace say "we have arrived"

Pretty much this ace is the sameone from the canon ending of the game, where he has died and his soul along with the rest of class zero are reincarnated into a new reality to become that worlds saviors

Mutsuki is pretty young and Ace is one of the younger peeps in Class Zero that's the only reason I can think of

Very sad ending to a great cast of characters, they at least got a happy life in the alternate ending or is it considered the true ending since it is in a different cycle? Seven and Sice being my favorite among class zero of course and the fact they get an accidental shipping is hilarious.
My guess is that this is supposed to be the future they were all thinking about at the end. It felt weird considering just how lighthearted it was. The part with Seven cracked me up, though XD

LunaHavoc Ba'ul I despised him throughout the whole of the game, until that last scene in the original ending. Then I gained some respect for him.
LunaHavoc Ba'ul i can't stand him too the first time i played the game, but if you read the novel that told the events in the previous time loop, i think you'll understand why machina acted like he did in the game (or at least tolerate his actions).
personally i think it's really sad how the feeling of the previous loop's machina, who wanted to be stronger so that he could protect his friends in class zero--so that no one will sacrifice their lives again for him, manifested wrongly and became twisted like in the game.

I'm pretty sure you get this secret ending by either doing a second game play of the game, or how I did it. I unlocked this ending and I'm guessing it's because I played as Ace basically all throughout the game, leveled him up the highest, and unlocked many achievements with him. Since I assume, I don't exactly know, that this is Ace in the samurai outfit, I would guess you need to play as him as much as possible in the game. This is just how I unlocked the secret ending.
You can see this ending after starting a NG+
after all this year, been waiting of what will this become and why, but still no clue until 2019...

Jak plasma, after they died arecia did something that (i think) destroyed the crystals or something wich caused the war to never happen, so that gave class another chance in life.

how to get this alternate ending?
The only thing I don't like about Type 0 is how there is literally nothing to do until ng+, almost everythign can only be done in ng+ or higher. I love the RTS missions but most of them are new game + only.

Ace might be with a new team or class zero because in the video before u get to the home screen at the end Ace say "we have arrived" and at the end with the true ending with rem and machina I believe Ace or some one else say "we are here" if u want to use this for something else like steam or something make sure u say u got it from me and also when they pose that's when Ace say "we have arrived"

Anne Wagner it is an alternate world, one without the war. but I think to imply from that that the world KS still in that spiral/loop of war. Only, now it is without the crystals.
