Diego García Gonzalez British Engineers came up with the worlds first supersonic jet fighter, first jet engined commercial airliner, without Lola cars the GT40 as you know it wouldn’t exist, also invented Carbon Fibre and many many many more things.
I think British Engineering is pretty okay.

At one point during your redesign, it was looking like an Early 60's Vette.
That's what I thought, the wheels are so iconic that they make it look like a Corvette, good thing that they go changed.

Would you ever consider doing a motorbike drawing tutorial? I'm looking into studying automotive design at degree level but want to specialise in bikes... I've drawn cars since tiny and your videos have helped take them to the next level, so I was wondering if you could show how to design / alter or create motorcycles. It would be really interesting to see how you do it! I could CZcams it and see if anyone else has done some tutorials but honestly... I like your style and i dont think any other drawing channel does what you do on your level

I’ve been working on one for the past two years. Modded (only using what was available in 1969) to 750hp naturally aspirated from the V8 440 which was bored out to 493 to make 8.1L making more torque than a Veyron. It needs to be in a movie :D
Looks fantastic! I was really not feeling the black around the rear window but once the entire thing was finished I could picture it & I actually like it. Love the rear light panel, looks awesome.
Just 1 tiny criticism. The round rear-view mirror doesn't fit on a modernisation in my personal opinion.

My parents had a 1968 MK1 model in black.
They bought it in 1978 and sold it in 1980 to buy a 1968 silver Shadow.
I admit I was worried that such an icon as the Jensen Interceptor would suffer from a redesign but this really works I like it a lot
WIth rumours flying around all over the place here in the UK that Ford might be considering reintroducing the Capri I'd LOVE to see that particular car given the Sketch Monkey treatment, specifically the LAST of the Capris, the MkIII(?) That said it would be pretty cool to see what might be done with a much earlier "Capri" the 1961-64 Ford Consul Capri a VERY nice little 2 dr pillarless coupe here in the UK back then
FF isn't "4WD", it's All-Wheel Drive.
Loose the wire wheels, those are fugly, the second choice isn't perfect, but is much better. The treatment for the rear lights and window is interesting, and that side vent and scallop is about perfect.
I would love to see you redesign the Chrysler Atlantic.

The rim switch was much needed, it almost became a different car with the black rims. It's a cool redesign, although I would've reduced the rear window trim thickness myself

All the glory of the car is in the rear end. You should redesign the front too.
I really like these cars and I think they are ripe for a Sketch Monkey update, but I can't help seeing a little ghost of Ford Pinto in the taillight treatment. Plus the wheels look like a 70's personal luxury car. I kind of like the experimenting with a 944-like spoiler that was hinted at then went away.
You're quite talented in Photoshop but honestly, the original Interceptor looks much better. I owned a 1974 J. I. and loved it. It was a classy machine and with the Chrysler 440, it was also very reliable. Everybody has their own taste as far as design is concerned. I think Bertone did an excellent job and designed a fabulous, original and classy looking car. My car was late 1974 so it had the complete burled walnut center console and gauges. Wouldn't mind having that car back with me today!!

I would have reduced the width of the trim around the rear window. Even in black it’s to wide. Glad you changed the wheels, the second set of wheels just didn’t look right. The 3rd set are on point. I would have played with the shape of the C pillar or the shape of the side rear glass more as well. Still a great update.👍🏼

Suggestion : Could you please do the 1996 third-gen Ford Taurus and/or the 1998 Ford AU Falcon? Two examples of Ford's New Edge design widely considered to be unsuccessful.
The front end of this redesign has a hint of the Ford Capri about it.

Sebb That would make it too much of a Porsche IMO. It already has some 944 kind of styling.
Am I the only one noticing the perspective of the rear bumper is off? The lines don't flow parallel somehow? But for the rest a great job, to be honest, I didn't know the interceptor at all, but I think if they tried to redo it, it would look something like your sketch!

Re-design the fox body Mustang
A problem with the 2019 update of this design? The windows are WAAAAY too big, most modern cars have half the actual glass surface this car has. As a consequence, the tail lamps look undersized, and no one is doing finned wheels...at least not this bright looking. (Just my humble opinion.)
The slant back of the interceptor has a cockroach rear like the late 70's Chevy Monza. In this case the Monza Mirage would be a fun redesign cause it had all the extra body cladding and the long lines of the rear spoiler coming forward over the rear wheels. I used to own the Mirage and the Spyder. And I miss them dearly. What would they look like with today's technology and desgign?

The car could use some coke bottle shape over the rear. perhaps I would like it better if the rear window was slightly smaller and the car had a more aggressive stance.

i remember being in one about 1977 the rear seats are very small about people about 5 foot tall would find them very tight indeed never mind a six footer like my self , beautiful car but my god heavy on petrol 10 or 11 miles to the gallon
