What you have now in the church of England is in effect two churches, one that has no confidence in the Bible and one that has complete confidence in it; it is the eternal word of God! Do not make the mistake of thinking that the Archbishops and Bishops speak for the entire church. They most definitely do not. If you think Anglican rather than C of E you will find that there are many millions of Anglicans living elsewhere on the planet. In the UK the churches that are alive and thriving are usually evangelical, which means simply that we believe the Gospel to be the truth and that it has to be lived, not changed. You don't mess with the word of God! This week Anglican primates in Nigeria and in Ghana have called on the Archbishop of Canterbury to repent or resign. Absolutely! There is much discussion amongst my Christian friends and as far as we are concerned, we will not comply with the unmitigated nonsense that is now being espoused. We follow the Lord God, not the ways of the world.

Yes, indeed Kelly. In the context of overall human leadership of the church, Archbishop Ben Kwashi of Nigeria speaks for me and I am English, approaching 80 years of age. I am ashamed of the leadership of the C of E. Ben Kwashi makes an excellent but tragic point when he says that all the thousands of Nigerian Christian men, women and children who have been slaughtered (by militant Islamists and Fulanis) for refusing to deny Christ, have now been betrayed (my word) by the apostasy and ungodly decisions of the C of E in UK, which do deny Christ. There is an excellent video available on CZcams of a discussion between Archbishop Ben Kwashi and a faithful Anglican theologian Lee Gatiss which will clarify and lament the whole business to you. It was recorded a few days before the recent Synod, but in full understanding of what was going to happen because the trajectory of the thinking of the C of E leadership is well known.
Archbishop Kwashi and many other faithful Anglican leaders head up GAFCON which stands for Global Anglican Futures Conference which stands globally, in opposition to the apostasy and heresy of those leaders who would accommodate to the ways of the world rather than standing firm and clear for the eternal truth of God as written in His word. I fully support GAFCON and thank God for our African brothers in the faith.
I think it very likely that a split will happen in the UK Anglican church because many of us cannot, and will not, tamely acquiesce.

This people talking and defending the creeds and traditions of the church trying to avoid changes in those matters are “SIMPLY” holding on to something that never have been real in the first place. The church and its leaders always have done it in the past accommodating political tendencies with its own interests, they have invented the concept of burring the bodies instead of burning “BECAUSE” so they would be able to hold on to the responsibility of the ceremonies, cemeteries, maintenances of cemeteries, and so on and so forth, which always have been under the control of the church. Burning would mean, no expensive rituals or expensive coffin, from that which the church always have had its own benefits holding hands with the funeral mafia/industry. What the church is doing now just proves what they always have done. They are in control and keep turning or changing the way they control society. Not only the followers of the church suffer the consequences but the whole lot since government and church are part of the same controlling mafia. The church has to go lower and lower in its actions and perhaps one day this people will see with transparency the illusion of the church and the lies on which the church have it’s foundation. Every layer knows that every now and again, the lye needs to be retold but with the changes and adaptations based on its own agenda.

Where do you gather with Christian brethren to worship in fellowship as commanded by God? Certainly we do not need the Church of England or any mainframe religion that our King is the Head of! But we do need to gather together to worship although we can of course worship God in private as well but in both ways not only one way.
As for the Church of England or the Church of Scotland if they allow themselves to be deceived by saying “ all are welcome “ in order to embrace with people who won’t let go of their sins and call sinful lives good and blessed and dismiss the words of Jesus who is God Yahweh, then after those who gain hold of the Churches win their victory, they will push out all who are true believers and we will see that the slogan “ all are welcome” will no longer apply to everyone, but the winners will end the Churches because they will not waste their time with a Church after they have turned it into a den of iniquity. A gathering of Satanists do not worship Jesus, indeed they mock him and say vile things about him such as he was a omoH and a T rannie, amd even a pedoF, name it, they will say it, and already those Satanists are ruling in high places in the Church. He was rewarded with some monastery land. Using this he married a woman whose family claimed descendancy from Charlemagne. I disregard this as I modestly understand that in the Tudor times people made outrageous claims. A child of this marriage suffered an arranged marriage to an elderly man. As a widow she married by choice a man with a single manor house in Cornwall. And had two more surviving children. But by 1850 they were working class. Running a rented farm, and supplementing the farms income with working in mines. I'll say one thing for them though, despite growing up before free education the family was always literate. In circa 1850, three brothers, along with their wives and children emigrated to Australia, NZ and South America.

of English society. A return to the strong biblical based teachings of the past may cause anger and offence but it gives moral leadership that will resonate into English society as a whole, reducing crime, divorce and number if babies born to unmarried mothers eventually saving the Exchequer £billions. Evidence for this is found in our society up until the end of the 1950s and the Welsh revival 1904. The CofE is leading England into financial ruin.

As born and raised Anglican and the son of a late Bishop of the Anglican Church I am absolutely flabbergasted by this recent developments in the church. My father would turn in his grave if this is the new direction the Anglican Communion is taking. Shame!

There are many Christians and churches within the Anglican tradition in the UK that are mortified at what is going on. It likely will spilt the church. I think those Bishops and Welby should leave, but it's more likely that the church I'm with will end up leaving. We need all Christians prays.

Regarding the question of whether God is 'he' or 'she', it's worth noting that the New Testament itself deals with this. The beginning of the Fourth Gospel shows that out of logical necessity the problem doesn't arise. That is because the God that the writer is concerned with is to be defined in terms which he sets out carefully and methodically in his introduction, or Prologue, to his Gospel.
Unfortunately, most people, including church attenders, aren't willing to take the time and trouble to understand that Prologue, or anything else in the Bible. They are so ignorant of it that even the Old Testament is new.
