*RECIPE*
_Cookie_
¾ cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons butter-flavored shortening
2 tablespoons butter, room temperature
1 egg, room temperature
¼ cup buttermilk, room temperature
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
1¾ cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
⅛ teaspoon salt
_SUGAR CINNAMON MIXTURE_
½ cup brown sugar
½ tablespoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter, melted
_CREAM CHEESE FROSTING_
2 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
2 tablespoons butter, room temperature
½ cup + 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
2-3 teaspoons milk (may need more or less to achieve desired texture)
vanilla extract, splash
*Refrigerate for about an hour - overnight*
*Cut into slices*
*PREHEAT to 350*
*Bake for 10-12 minutes*

Hello! Love the cookies. My dough kept breaking apart as I was rolling it. I was able to put back together with flour. Also my dough didn't seem as think as yours. I wonder if I didn't have enough flour or if I rolled it out too much.
at first, i was 100 percent sure that those cookies were undercooked. And after baking it, that was DEFINETLY undercooked lol. But the recipe is still great! But I do recommend baking for 18-20 mins!
