Wicked good video!! I'm doing all I can to remain positive that I'll be able to share these tips with my son!! For now, waiting for him to reenter detox, then hopefully rehab! Your timing with this video is once again, pretty spot on, in keeping my mindset positive!
BTW I love what you did with your hair!! 😉😄

Great topic today. These steps work very well. I personally ask for more random tox screens. Thank you!

the First step is that we Admitted we were powerless o er alcohol-that our life had become unmanageble. we should not mince things up. the 12 steps of AA are concidered easy steps except for someone who has been out there a LONG time that substance abuse is all they know. I've been sober 12 years now after being a 25 year career alcoholic and those words and suggestions confused me. let's try to keep it simple. dont get mee wrong, I agree with what you said but what you said is not the first step. what you said should be the symptoms of 1st step let's not take our eye off the ball and stay focused on the tryed and true 12 steps. my family appreciates your videos and we will be watching them with our 45 year old daughter that had been out there for over 20 years and because of it she has suffered kidney, Liver and integrity damage. she is better at lying to herself and others the using the truth. we are hoping that the 1st step will help her get her to move on policing herself like you are recommending. with kind regards, Mike

Can we get too the point it's taking forever to get too the point

I believe the point is to add accountability in ones life! Example in my life would be: if I have random tox screens and if so I won't ever know when I could be called out, so I better consider that before I use. It helps me mentally. That's one thing that grounds me when I get a craving. Addiction can be complex but for us addicts, we tend to make things more complicating. I hope this helps, take care!
