    Love the dinette. These bus conversions ,I'm loving and impressed. May I suggest leave her wild,she is also doing a bus conversion.

    What is the total length from the back of the one chair to the back of the other. Or easier question what is the total distance of the gap between the chairs ! You said ur Chairs were 24 long so 48 total for those plus how much is the gap space ? Thank you !!

    Yep i had one of those butt cist when i was doing a lot of biking and sport stuff. Had to sit on a blow up donut butt cushion for a couple of. Weeks. Kinda scary cause my mind started thinking the same things like cancer. The build is starting to pick up speed now. Put a strip of wood on both of your chairs so the table has something to rest on when turned into a bed.

      Someone else told me there may be a donut pillow in my future too haha let's hope not! I'm thinking we'll be able to forgo any wood stoppers on the dinette chairs since the table pedestal is pretty strong and shouldn't have issue holding the weight that is put on it while sleeping. Certainly we'll test it all and find out soon enough!

    For your seat backs did you use 2"x2" under the .5" plywood? Or in other words, how dod you do the back angles?

    • @MilesOSmiles
      @MilesOSmiles  Před 3 lety

      We didn’t use anything except for 3/4” plywood. The side pieces are one large piece that include the angled back part. At the height of the seat it is 4” wide and at the top it is 1” wide. Then we placed another piece of 3/4” plywood on the front edges of those pieces to create the backrest

    Did you calculate for seat cushions? Depending on how thick they are, they will add to your seated height... do you want your feet dangling when you sit?

      Yupp we should still be good with cushions👍🏼 definitely something we almost forgot about!
