The E60 still looked like a real BMW despite its radical design twenty years ago,the side profile of the G60 looks like a Volkswagen passat
The front end looks like a Subaru Forester,while the rear end is a blend of Jaguar XF and aToyota Corolla.
Very good observations on the radical design and similarities to the E60. I do think the G30 LCI looks better but thank God they did not make it as crazy as the new 7.
Will be interesting to see in a decade or so if history views the G60 in the same lens as the E60

and the things i tend to like dont fit to a bmw 5 series
Basically they wanna divide customers and providing more choices of the grills and taillights. At least they provide "the not same" concept from previous models. Thanks for this video. I learned something

The bottom window line has always been straight, now it goes up slightly before it meets the kink...like Italian sedans. I don't like it.
Ev is DOA to me. I just sold my 2021 G30 Lci waiting for delivery of ///M340i Pro. I really want to experience the straight six B58 before i meet my maker, or before bmw is ruined by total electrification in near future!

This is nearly not as controversial as the E60, and the reaction and response from most people has been mostly positive, if anything people were expecting an even crazier controversial design like the recent BMWs!!
I think for a 5 Series, there are limits how far they can push. Haha
I don't know how to react about this new 5 series but it makes my E60 and F10 looks much more beautiful.
The front is okay for me. The rear, I am holding my judgment. Haha
@@KonWaiLuen what about the M60, the front grille looks worse than the bugs bunny grille. And i think the G60 priced more than the G30.
@@KonWaiLuen I think so too. and I feel that the rear looks rather Japanese-ish in design.
