- We board Carnival's newest cruise ship the Jubilee. The Carnival Jubilee or the Texas Star, is homed in Galveston Texas. The Carnival Jubilee is the newest in Carnival's Excel class ship design. The Carnival Mardi Gras, and Celebration all came before the Jubilee. This is the first time that a new Carnival ship launches from Texas.
Join us as we explore this beautiful new ship. We grab lunch at Guy's Burger Joint, Explore the Havana Area and our Havana Cabin. We also dine at Guy's Pig and Anchor Smokehouse Brewhouse for dinner. We end the night on Carnival's Jubilee with some hot tub time and drinks at Dr.Inks, a new bar concept on Carnival's Excel class ship.

I usually tip the stateroom attendants at the end of the cruise but if I found my luggage placed inside of my room that would definitely warrant an extra tip upfront for the extra effort
Absolutely. We tipped him well. He was so good.
The guys line intimidates us, so we always head to pig and anchor when we get onboard
We miss the smaller ships with the two lines. Most people don’t know about the second line so you can easily grab a burger. Still love Vista class.

I love sailing from Galveston. The port operates very efficiently and it's a good time the night before. Fellow cruisers tend to be a lot more friendly and polite. The small inconvenience of getting from Houston to Galveston is solved with just getting an Uber instead of fooling with the limited shuttle options. Book a hotel down there well in advance. The extra cost, for us at least, is totally worth it. Sailing in January and already starting to make some plans! We've done Celebration, but we're looking forward to connecting cove balconies on this one and really excited! We stayed just above the Pig and Anchor/Summer's Landing on the Celebration, and also close to it on the Panorama, and we LOVE that place. Best Bloody I've ever had and just love the vibe of that whole area. We just call it The Pig. Sorry for the long post, as I am watching I feel like I could just chat with you guys all about it :)
Awesome that sounds amazing! Pro tip we love hitting up rainforest cafe and riding their dark ride 😂 it’s the only one in existence which is pretty cool
@@RandomRecess ooo, will have to check that out! Do you have a particular hotel you like? The last two times we've sailed from there we've don the Harbor House but we're trying to be a little more reasonable this time and cost vs value of that place has outpriced itself.
We haven’t explored too much. We stayed at the Hilton Galveston Island which is close to the Rain Forest Cafe and enjoyed our stay there. Great pool and views of the beach.

Cruising in September with our new Twin granddaughters. They will be 13 months. Sister in-law and husband who have never cruised with be joining us. Our son and daughter in-law too. We got the family Harbor cabins

Hi thank you for your video! Love them and can’t wait for the rest of the episodes. We are going on Jubilee on Aug 3. I’m wondering the water in your room is prepared by the cruise line or you brought your own? Is other soft drinks free or changeable on the boat?
Hey there! We purchased that water through the cruise line before the cruise. As far as soft drinks, you can bring one 12 pack of cans per cruiser when you board if you want, or get the Bubbles drink package (non alcoholic drinks) or the Cheers package (all drinks)

I believe it’s the first year so not till end of December 2024. We’re also going in August so we might see you there. We sail on the 10th.

We were on the carnival, Mardi Gras, and I felt like this new class of carnival ships were way too big way to many people, and they tried to cram too much stuff onto the boat. Trying out Virgin voyages in about a week and if all goes well.I'll probably never sail carnival again.
That’s a fair assessment tbh. I’m curious about Virgin as well!
How long will be stationed in the Jubilee?
We went on a 7 night cruise, so we’ll have a vlog for each day!
