Yeah it's much more lively, and not as "synthetic" even though the TTS is really good these days it's still just not the same.

I loved it on Netflix, the last scene of the girl waling on the Moon without a space suit and breathing the Moon atmosphere as the Earth is seen in the distance is just well breathtaking. Interesting characters and continuous twists and action keep the series fresh and interesting. The series will take interesting turns in the second season.
so they perfected white hole tech in the humans lung tissue to make water why can't they just make a giant white machine instead of making your lungs produce water
@@raven4k998 , it only works in zero G's and on the Moon. It seems that human bodies seem unable to handle the expansion of water in that scale. So, they used clones 73 until the girl that find survived apparently.
@@Wolfen443 yeah but the plenty not out of water it just out of clean water there's a difference which means they are just further flooding the planet with water when you think about it by making more water now you know how the movie water world came to be kid

TNice tutorials is actually a very good and straight forward tutorial. No having ask questions or guess, no over-explaining elents, and brings
I like how the movie color filter and the way the people looks makes you feel like they all are a little bit sweaty and make you feel like they are always thirsty and miserable without outright making them suffer. Like when you just enter your car after it has been hours under the sun, that kind of feel
But without much water, there can't be much sweat production?
Have you been to school sweat is caused by heat and to much movement
@@RickTS it forces moisture out of the body go back to school
its like a dark blue hue filter instead of black and gold from deus ex, really brings that feel
@@RickTS I don't know why the previous people answered you in a bit rude manner, but here:
You can definitely sweat without that much water drinked. That's exactly how people die, out of dehydration
Without complicating to much, let's say the common sentence "we are 70% water". That's what is in your body, in every single cell basically, in every centimeter or inch. When you sweat, you sweat water with other minerals basically. You are not sweating the water you drank directly, you are sweating the one your cells contained. Imagine you haven't drink a drop of water, you will continue to sweat and sweat more until that % of your body reduces enough to produce organ malfunction, cells die because they don't have enough water to live, you die

@@dennicam2428 The water won't go to space, it'll dry out, I think that's what they meant.
@@gitchygitchyyayatata5574 yes, but it cannot dry out thats my point. Its a very misunderstood topic, look up the water cycle. The earth is a closed loop and we will never run out of water. HEY IT'S RAYLIGHT!!! There are part 2 and part 3 of this series recap btw and it's gooood :D
I highly recommend you watch the actual series instead. It is one of by the far, hands down, of the THE BEST horror shows ever. This is because it is about a topic that can actually be TRUE in REAL LIFE, and not some supernatural force, rather realistic horror than fictional horror.
The topic is complete BS as the writers clearly don't understand conversation of mass even. Where is all the water on the planet going and where is this new water springing out of nowhere from on the moon? It's one thing to have issues keeping up with potable water when you won't invest in infrastructure but the actual total amount of water on the planet is not just disappearing.

@@Dinoboy3060 I have a theory as well. The liquid, when ingested into the bloodstream will withdraw water from the victims cells as humans are made up of about 60% water. This is deposited through the alveoli and as a result, the victim does of drowning because the alveoli can only deposit water and can no longer absorb oxygen. That's my take on it anyway...

AGREE! It is amazing.
a ventilation system large enough for a full grown adult to basically walk through it??? the sheer amount of wasted space on this space station is insane
Ye
I'm guessing it's so large in case they need to perform maintenance. If something goes wrong with the ventilation, then they'll need to put on their space suits, and they _really_ don't want the vents to be small enough that anyone maintaining them has to crawl through and risk tearing or cutting their suit on the way to the problem location. It's definitely wasted space (it should probably double as a full-fledged maintenance tunnel), but it does make sense when they don't have the luxury of just opening the windows while they take the shafts out & replace them.

Pulmonary edema is a condition caused by too much fluid in the lungs. This fluid collects in the many air sacs in the lungs, making it difficult to breathe.
In most cases, heart problems cause pulmonary edema. But fluid can collect in the lungs for other reasons. These include pneumonia, contact with certain toxins, medications, trauma to the chest wall, and traveling to or exercising at high elevations.
Pulmonary edema that develops suddenly (acute pulmonary edema) is a medical emergency that needs immediate care. Pulmonary edema can sometimes cause death. Prompt treatment might help. Treatment for pulmonary edema depends on the cause but generally includes additional oxygen and medications.
The writers took creative liberties when making up the "science" of the movie... give em a break 🤣😅

I guess you're right but when watching these movies with weird physics, it's probably best to just turn off your mind when thinking about the science.....and focus on the characters and the story development instead.....unless the main focus of the movie is on the science rather than the characters, in which case, it's subject to absolute scrutiny.

Reminds me of that one horror episode of Doctor Who, Waters of Mars. Where the water on mars was an intelligent parasite hive mind that could spread through just a single drop oof water.
My question about these water shortage movies is where exactly does all the water go? I mean it got here via comets hitting the planet, so it couldn't just boil away, and if it were contaminated then filtration is always an option.
