Hey Alpha, I’m a ramp agent at EGKB airport. You did the GPU spot on but the stairs normally you’d have a banksman to watch you in, same with the belt loader! Other than that, great content mate hope you make more of these videos from time to time🤙🏻

Hey mate the pilots normally start the apu , but when the aircraft is connected by GPU, it’s important that the ground crew knows there’s power to the plane itself before disconnecting, if they come in on an airport without GPUs they normally just keep the APU running during the turn around, so we don’t ask in that scenario, but they can start before being asked, it’s just a confirmation from the ground crew side.
And yes we do toss those damn cones 😂

Great video!! It makes me miss working on the ramp every day! Not going to lie we used to throw the cones all the time 😂 the cone in the back is so no one drives under the plane. I’m not sure if the game lets you but you always want to put the tongue up on the gpu so it doesn’t roll away it’s like the parking brake for it. Pulling up the stairs to the plane is one of the hardest things to do I hated doing it 😂

usally with the stairs there is a person on the stairs as they try to park it Infront of the aircraft, the person on the stairs usually communicates with the driver to direct him to the door. Amazing video 😁❤
