When you operate in the aviation industry, the weather is a key influencer. To create realism we’ve implemented a detailed weather system allowing for real-time weather mapped in conjunction with the METAR system. Of course, you can alternatively choose to select the weather type if you wish to do so.
Gameplay Modes
Within AirportSim, you’ll be provided with multiple game modes:
Scenario: Gameplay planned based on stacked flight plans, predefined weather conditions and tasks you'll have to complete in sequence.
Challenge: Feel like you can handle any situation at the airport? Test your skills by placing as high as possible on the scoreboard!
Cooperation: Together you can do more, and have more fun - invite your friends to join you on an adventure at one of the busy airports.
Free Play: No rules here, explore airports at your own speed and do as you please. You can watch the planes come and go or get involved, you decide!

As someone worked in airport, I can say baggage handling is quite accurate. :)
I also watched something like this in crash investigation videos before, showing what went wrong while plane was on the ground :D

I believe the two different GPUs you are looking at are AC and DC. The one you were familiar with is the DC power cart. Usually used for charging batteries. The AC one will power the aircraft systems on the ground. This is the case with modern planes. Not many planes still flying that are DC.

Drae, another airport sim player here.
You can get a tarp to place over the luggage trolley, it stops all bags from coming off.
The game is still in quite a buggy state, it's crashed my game several times and I've experienced the catering truck bug.
SPOILER:
You can get some interesting achievements by walking near an active engine, placing cones on top the front of the plane and placing a cone in the luggage hold respectively

I immediately cringed 5 seconds in when i saw the part of him closing the aircraft door from the outside, if you are ground crew and close/open the door from the outside you are getting fired, i myself have gotten people in trouble as i work in the plane and i was informed a ground crew tried to open the door which ended up with him getting fired. Only people allowed to open/close aircraft doors are:
flight crew (with/without passengers)
Cabin crew (with/without passengers)
Engineers (without passengers)
Cleaners (without passengers)
Emergency personnel (with/without passengers)
As ground crew you walk up the stairs, pull back the bars and ask one of the crew members to close the door, and if they aren't there you wait, and do not enter the aircraft.
@@beni5149 Yeah that actually stuck out to me too. I always notice that the flight screw closes the door when I take a flight.

Mate I'm a Fueller at Inverness Airport and I wish fuel went into the aircraft as quick as it did in this vid XD
That Fuel must have been rattling off the truck at about 600 litres a second to be that fast.
You are also correct the fuel tanks are in the wings on an Airbus like that with a third and reserve tank in the belly of the plane.

I take a fly to punta cana in two weeks and if the guys put the luggage like you in the plane thats gonna be one of a kind!
4:42 Funny enough there is no DC external power in Airbus aircraft. They have AC only. Also if the external power is applied you don't need to use battery to power the refuelling system. DC is used mainly for smaller aircraft (like turboprops that often have both DC and AC ground power connections). There are some large aircraft that may use DC external power, but those are mainly eastern block planes.
Very funny to watch when you lose your mind. And we learn about workers at Airport.
I worked in an airport for 15 years, I can't imagine playing a game that was all the tasks I used to do every day... Let me watch Drae do it instead.
This needs to be a co-op game.
The plane proceeded to have a emergency landing due to pressure loss. Later investigation found that the rear cargo door had not properly been closed. This fact was missed as no one actualy did the Walkaround. Luckily no one was injured.
You ground when dealing with anything electrical to prevent static build up frying components, ever taken a TV or monitor out of the box and gotten a static shock? That's because static has built up on your body and you weren't grounded :) it's actually a slim chance anything will get fried by the build up but when the thing that might get fried is worth millions, like a plane, I'd ground it too 😂
