I have seen numerous ways to calibrate a residential tow sprayer but this is by far the easiest to understand video on the subject I have ever seen. Thank you!
Most of the home boom sprayers have 2 spray fittings on the ends. They tend to overlap each other on the centerline as much as 40". You then also get a 40" lighter spray on the ends. You will need to overlap the next row with the outside spray fitting to get get the same coverage as directly behind the centerline. Look it up in your manual.
at 5:30 he explained that he measured 32 fluid ounces in the .34 seconds. Since his boom sprayer has two nozzles, his sprayer is laying down 64 fluid ounces or 1/2 gallon every 34 seconds. Which is the amount of time it takes him to drive the 1000 sq ft.
@@gregpezan9631 you have a couple options to manipulate to get the numbers you want. Change the tip size of your sprayer, or change the speed at which you walk when your using your sprayer.

Am I missing something? Would he not only be putting down 1/2 of a gallon per 1000 sq ft out of just that one nozzle?
