The Figure 8 Vest Harness has become a new standard of care for upper extremity figure 8 and figure 9 control and suspension applications. It offers significantly greater comfort, control, and functional outcomes.
Traditional antiquated strap harnesses are plagued with isolated point specific loading that dig into the sound side axilla. No matter how much padding is added, there remains a lot of force over a small surface area, and are just not comfortable to wear.
The new figure 8 vest harness eliminates any point specific loading by spreading the forces over a broad surface area, 360 degrees around the torso. The force distribution provides a significantly greater lock about the body, increasing control, and just feels like you are wearing a form fitting shirt.
