- In this guide I want to show you how to spend a couple hours to get some powerful weapons that you can use or sell. By the end of this guide you’ll be able to choose from a few powerful weapons and can sell the rest to get a nice bunch of silver to spend on skills.

Apologies for the ridiculous amount of ads on this one. How did you got so much silver at the beginning of the game? You even bought two skills?! I sold everything i found and didn;t even get to 100 silver? And your guide from description is a bit outdated, you now craft 1 potion and it sells for 4 silver. Can you explain how did you earn this money so fast?
@@petecorvey4100 do you know how to exploit the stores by buying the ingredients for warm potions and Astral potions?
It basically allows you to buy the ingredients to make the potions and when you sell them, you end up with more silver, therefore making a profit.
I think Churchy might of done that to gain the extra coin.

4:08 Immaculate Camp. Ask for power.
5:51 Ghost Pass, gain a Spiritual Vanish, and water skin.
6:12 Pirate Hideout. Get across by climbing mountain and crossing bridge. Apply Spiritual Vanish on axe and kill pirate for large emerald. Emerald's used for hunting backpack later.
7:53 Voltaic Hatchery/Go to boat near Emmerkar Forest.
9:35 When in cave. Head to the right when you find the bodies. Then go left. And go passed the enemies. Then head to the right. When you find the blue lamppost, pull the lever. (1/3)
10:20 Lever (2/3) Head down ramp after pulling lever. It'll take you to another chamber. When you reach chamber, head left passed the blue sand. Follow the path and go left to another ramp. Then you'll see blue lamp with lever.
11:01 (3/3) Head back the way you came. When you head to the water, go left. Then head left again, and make your way up the ramp and pull the third lever.
11:39 Make your way back to the main room. Go make your way back and find the laboratory looking spot.
12:33 Get the Menders Lexicon.
12:59 Make your way out to the exit.
13:06 Head NorthEast and make your way to the Hallowed Marsh.
14:15 Immaculate cave location.
16:56 Talk to immaculate. Choose "It's fine, you probably need it more than I do."
17:02 Leave cave. Continue east to the spire of life light.
17:55 Enter Spire of Light.
18:00 Fall off bridge and go under it to pull lever.
18:13 Head up both ramps, passing the enemies, then run right.
18:21 Make your way up the stairs. Continue up the stairs. Then activate both levers.
18:53 Head back down. Go to teleporter and loot the chest behind it. Then head into the teleporter.
19:21 Head and turn left behind the blue ball, and pull the lever.
19:26 Head across the bridge. And go to the teleporter.
19:35 You're up. Curve around throne and pull the lever behind it. Then go back down the teleporters.
20:37 Go back down to the place you came from, when going down the last ramp, turn left and fall. Then run to the basement.
20:45 Go across the basement and go to the back room and pull the lever. And go through the teleporter.
20:55 Take teleporter and head left out of the room. Head across bridge and pull lever. And go for the ornate chest. Go back to the teleporter you came from.
21:20 Then walk over to the small room and go to the teleporter in the right.
21:30 After going through, walk up the stairs and get the pillar great hammer. Put halberd in the legacy chest. (Here.)
21:58 Head back down. Leave the spire, and head back to the forest. The big blue wall won't be there.
22:57 Take rest in Berg, get out of Berg from main door.
23:51 Pin point where cursor is at, then go to it.
25:12 Retrieve Hunting Backpack from manticore lair.
25:28 Lure the manticore and head down the ramp. Head across room to the little opening and jump down. Walk and then head right. Then walk to the ramp but watch out for the manticore. Follow the ramp. You'll see light mushrooms, and you'll have to jump down ledge. Keep following path.
26:25 Open the door with the large emerald. In this room, you'll find the hunting backpack. Get out of that lair.
28:10 Head to the cabal of wind Temple.
28:50 Once you're inside, lure all the strongest enemies in the middle and trap them. Go back up from the entrance you came from, and pull the lever in the middle. Watch video to help if stuck.
31:44 Loot the enemies, then go to ornate chest and retrieve the halberd.
32:20 Head out. Go to immaculate camp and ask for equipment to get master trader garb.
32:26 Pin location of immaculate camp.
33:23 Enter. Ask for equipment.
34:13 Head NorthEast, head towards abrassar. (Here)
35:02 Head to the immaculate camp, pinpoint the location.
35:55 Enter the cave, interact with the immaculate and receive the dreamers halberd.
36:20 Outside there's an oracle chest. Get it.
36:33 Head North to the electric lab, pinpoint location.
37:59 Enter lab.
38:07 Go down, turn right and go down elevator.
38:10 Go front, then left. Make your way passed the enemies and go left again. Then turn left again. Pull the switch. Go back to the elevator.
38:40 When you get on the elevator. Face North and go in the sacred passage.
38:45 go down, head right. Then right again. Go up the stairs. Pull the lever, and go up.
38:56 Pull the other lever. Make your way back. Go down, turn left.
39:14 Jump down ledge. Walk ahead and then go right. And then go left. Go upstairs. Turn left. Make your way down the small path which leads to a ramp.
39:37 Your in a big room, look right and go down that small path. Go up the elevator. Step off, and hit the left switch. Brings down top elevator.
40:02 Hit switch. Activate orb. Then head outside. Make your way across and retrieve the weapon.
41:17 Make your way to Levant. (Here)

Great job! This guide is going to make new players so brave lol, I was terrified to head into most of these places when I first started
New players: if you die, just rest up at the closest town and try again! Eventually death scenarios will place you at the city as well so no need to stress
worst thing about dieing is not knowing where u end up after a death scenario, but after u die enough times, it becomes very easy to catch ur bearings, even in a new map or area u havnt really visisted much.
There are some fuck*d up scenarios. So it is still good to not die.
I got spawn raped by a ghost 3 times. He just kept tossing me in the cell next to him. He eventually tossed me and my bag just outside ghost pass. I think I'm gonna kill hyenas and those chicken things until I feel super comfortable with combat. Gotta make use of consumables too. I always forget. Still loving this game though.
I recently got Outward and all of the guides I've been seeing are all 9 months+ in age, it's good to see some updated content. Great job

New to Outward, and I'm looking at this guide after spending around 9 hours in the game only to realize there's hidden stuff ALL OVER THE PLACE. WHAT. O_O I never knew some of these places existed :D

Fantastic video, thanks for the tips.
The main concept that sets this game apart from other rpg's is that there is no level system. Everyone is created equally at the start. Instead the players stats are dependant on the armor, weapons and skills purchased/found and equipped. This game is truly a masterpiece and underrated. I would love to see a sequel at some point. I just started playing the definitive edition a few days ago after playing the original version at release. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who loves a good challenge and doesn't mind some jank. Just remember that this game is hard and without a guide you might find yourself failing quests or returning to a town and finding out its been blown up because you didn't do a task in time. Cheers 🍻

Man, I appreciate this guide so much! I haven't played the game in a year so this helped me get back into it and get a character ready for the DLC's I haven't played. I followed it to the T and am so HAPPY with how much time you saved me!
The only caveat is IMHO new players should NOT use this guide! It totally ruins a TON of content if you haven't already experienced it!
A kind of Stupid cheese if you have a controller lying around is an infinite storage. Basically Start split Create a charcter for split use only, and give them a backpack. any time you run out of space you can summon the Storage character, and have an infinite storage, and then close Split and it'll all be saved
Nice
If you are really cheap, you can drop a backpack full of stuff of your main character in split screen. And delete the save game afterwards so your main character does not loose anything (you can find the savegames in the game folder. The right savegame can be identified via creation date). But normally this method ends in losing your motivation to play the game, because loot is the main thing that keeps you on your toes. And if your new character has everything at the beginning, what is there left to do except killing bosses?

An easy way to beat that guy is to just set up some spike traps and lead him into them

Ever since they nerfed potions, my life has been in shambles... I feel so lost not taking 3 hours grinding to get all the skills in the game. This guide so far is really good though! Love the channel as well
in my opinion (which is ok to disagree with), you were just cheating yourself out of 3 hours of your life doing the potions grind. there is nothing skill based about the potion grind, all you really get is a sense of pride that you did it the "legit" way. the potions grind was just exploiting the game's lack of an economy, which i don't think is any better than exploiting the cierzo legacy chest or just debugging enough money for the build you're making on PC. the potion grind just takes much longer, which gives it a sense of legitimacy.
I did the potions grind once, which was enough for me to decide that I never need to do it again.

@@Dsmky117 It's interesting that you believe that only skill based activity is rewarding. I wonder if that translates to all areas of your life. The most interesting part, I suppose, is that you're relating it to a game. Granted, you acknowledged it was 'ok that you disagree'; but, shouldn't a games primary function be entertainment? I find fulfillment in other areas of my life. While I don't need it from a game, I don't judge those that get that kind of fulfillment. I understand people are different, but from my perspective, I already grind for money in my real life job. I don't want to be forced to do it more... a full year after release... in some low key update... to "fix" players from enjoying the game, that they purchased, how they please.
Comparing an exploit to poorly thought out potion prices are not the same. Glitches/cheats break item continuity, make no sense in the game world; potions being worth more than their constituent parts is not comparable. Claiming otherwise is ridiculous on it's face.
Why not just fix broken gameplay, not pearl clutch about some players getting achievements in a way, god forbid, *THE DEVS DIDN'T INTEND*
I've played the game for 3 hours after having it on my wishlist for months, unfortunately I can not get a refund.
@@enclave2k1 yea just reduce the potion count but keep the silver and value of potions. If you want 150 silver plus all the towns silver, it should be doable in a few hours of playing. 4 in game days for the 150, and a week or so for the whole towns silver. However that works out for in game exchange
Churchy, just recently went through royal manticore lair, found for myself, heading right along the wall from the entrance takes you immediately to the Bag Location, and heading left along the wall takes you exactly to the entrance back out again. just food for next time mate

Mind you: If you die at any point in this very long and convoluted journey, especially in the harder areas, it will dump you into some random dungeon somewhere in the region you are in, probably with enemies that will murder you.

The trickiest part for me is deciding what's worth keeping or leaving. this helps! I have the Nomad 50 Backpack. I wish there was a 500 weight limit backpack! 🙄 🤷♂️
Great tutorial while each time I was creating a new character I was spending 7-8 in game weeks to farm blue sand .... EDIT : Only in Levan the selling price is 900 while in other places it will be 750 only ! Farming Shell Horrors is a good way to craft Great Horror weapons and sell those for a very good price

Don't forget to loot the ornate chest in the Voltaic Hatchery, which is close to where the lexicon is.

With the Friendly Immaculate, I find that it's best to only ask it for the Possessed skill (can you help me > I want power) and then don't ever ask for anything else to make sure you get the final gift. I don't know if ever saying "I'm sure you need it better than I" is ever necessary, but I suppose it can't hurt. I don't remember if I ever did.
26:40 You had a ruby, you could have looted the other trog door if you wanted to, but not necessary.

Use split screen mode as a storage keeper, because freaking keeping items in storage will massively lag your PC, I think it still does today.

Quick question, can you ever see where you are on the map? Or is it like darkwood but more realistic.
The further I watch this video, the more I start to wonder what exactly the point of half this is.
You're jaunting across the world, picking up specific items seemingly at random, avoiding combat and collecting a bunch of other junk along the way that you then end up just dropping on the ground in piles.
You got the Possessed power... okay. Then a large emerald, which was referenced later but not really clarified. Then a lexicon of some sort. Then a pillar hammer (lawdz that thing is ugly). Could have sold stuff when you went through that city in the forest, but apparently not.
So... then a spiky backpack (I've seen a few people using that one in videos, but I'm not sure what it does). Then some sort of glowy halberd (and dropped a ton of stuff). Then got the Master Trader Garb (can't you buy that from certain traders in every city?). Then went to the desert, picking up fruit and leaving other stuff lying about until you got ANOTHER glowy halberd. "Make sure you loot the ornate chest in the tent", as though you had any space left in your backpack. Then you end up in some lab where you say "elavayda" a whole lot (just call it a lift, save time) and pick up a fancy spear, nearly dying in the process.
And you collected all this unique loot so you could.... sell it?
I have to admit I am NOT fond of selling uniques.

Okay, so that was certainly informative, and I actually followed this up until getting that Lexicon... but maybe grabbing most of that other stuff is a bit needless. I got quite a bit of silver selling all the crap I got from Ambush-farming the Pearlbird Mask (which I finally got late last night)... and without even leaving the first map area.

Well it's kinda the same as playing games and remembering the controls. He done it so much that he just remembered it. You could make a character just to do the run and do it again and again until you remember it without the help of a video.

Trying to follow this guide and the great axe attacks so slow that the enemies normally just smack me right after i hit them and i die... died twice trying to fight the pirate captain.
What do you do with the items when you're looting Cierzo? I'm over encumbered 100% of the time when I'm picking everything up in that town at the start.

In the Spire of Light, is it safe enough on the very top floor to throw down your sleeping bag and rest without guarding, or no?

Not to mention with the horror chitin you get from the wind temple can be used to make horror weapons all you need to do is turn any iron weapon into a Fang weapon and a Fang weapon into horror only need is a Palladium scrap which is easily seen in more common in the later Maps and an occult fragment horror pins are strong and they sell for the exact amount as the dreamer halberd in other high selling weapons that are shown in this video good way to make money
Is it wrong to turn on debug mode and use the movement multiplier to fly across the map like in the video? Will it ruin the experience?

I use pistols and traps. A wear light armors. Shot and run them into the traps

No mods, just PC with max/close to max settings from memory.

I get it but what's the point avoiding all the fights? Yes I was downed in seconds by any enemy and yes sometimes its better to just avoid the fight but everyone
The silver farm in cierzo doesn't work for me I break even when selling crafted items when i bought mats. only making money when I farmed them
