I have taken about 1/2 tsp of Ceylon cinnamon daily for around 6 months but I read that taking it beyond 6 months it can have a detrimental effect to your health. Do you have any thoughts on this? I love that it is helping with my insulin levels but I worry about the long term effects.
Thank you, so interesting. Tho i don't need blood-thinners thats a vital piece of knowledge. Also i was advised not to take garlic over 2 weeks or so BEFORE an operation. It also has blood-thinning properties...and same applies before dental extractions , so you're not compromising your ability to clot the blood/heal the dental wound. 😊❤
I take Ceylon cinnamon capsules as it seems to help with my gut health. I take 1200 mg 2 capsules per day and I have a little powder cinnamon in my coffee. Do you think that’s too much because I truly would like to up my capsule dose to an additional one at night when I drink my ginger tea
This lady must be hired by the diabetes medicine team, all you have to do is Not just keep taking Cinnamon but Must monitor your sugar level and Reduce and then stop taking Diabetes tablets and then adjust your Cinnamon in take accordingly to keep you level up to require level
You want to really lower your blood glucose level? Take Cinnamon Chromium picolinate and Berberine, I had a friend with type 2 diabetes ,I told them to take all three and exercise and staying away from refined carbs , his doctor took him off all diabetes drugs. All these doctors should all go back to school and learn about nutrition and prevention like I did for the last 23 years.
The Dutch officially came to Ceylon (Sri Lanka) in 1658, although the first encounter dates back to 1602. One of the main reasons for their craving for Ceylon, just like other European nations, was its "cinnamon." When they arrived, there were Portuguese who fought with them. After Dutches, the British came and battles occurred. All because of "Ceylon cinnamon." That's how powerful it is.

Since cinnamon thins the blood, is it actually lowering blood glucose or is it getting a false reading from the thinned out blood 🩸sample?
