That Rental Shouldn't Be Here

  • We had some customers come in needing their vehicle retrieved from the middle of Hamburger Hill on Kane Creek Trail. They said they had got hung up on the big ledge and couldn't get out. We loaded up and headed in. On e we reached the vehicle we realized it was a rental car. That's when we started talking with them about how they had got there. They had followed a book rating the trail as 'easy'. Which up until the last 3-4 years it was, but due to flooding and erosion the trail has become increasingly difficult the last few years. Always remember to check updated trail conditions and if possible, never travel alone. We got them out and back on pavement as quickly and safely as we could. Thank you everyone for watching and supporting us.

There was a stock Jeep Grand Wagoneer (1970s) just starting to go toward the town. He was at the first ledge that was only about 18" tall. He asked me if it got worse, and I informed him that it indeed did get worse, much worse, and even if he was going down hill, it would surly screw up the underside of his rig. He turned around. My first trip to Moab was the 04 EJS and I had a good trail book. We picked some easier trails for my Samurai because I didn't know anyone and my wife was pregnant. We did Top of the World and it was not bad. I saw a video last year that Matt and Paul were in on that trail and it was looking pretty hard. I don't know if I will ever get a third trip out there so I watch all of your videos for the laughs and the scenery. Thank you and your team.

Little did this family know when they woke up that morning, they were going to get the best off-road spotting and tips they could ever hope to have, regardless of any damage to the rental, I bet they will remember this day for a long, long time, and them sort of memories, don't have a price tag attached.

Great job Rory, Lilly, Mike and Shawn. Considering the tires, that JT did pretty well.

Little kid is awesome. Can’t believe Rory wearing plain Jane white sneakers. My non work boot is a Sketchers work boot.

The shot of the overland badge followed by the shot of the street tires lol. That just says it all.

Nice work and great scenery. Couldn't quite make the mud pit, but it was worth a try. Off to the jeep wash.

You know one of the big reasons I watch these? Glass packs. I love the sound of glass packs, and hardly anyone runs them any more! (myself included). I also enjoy watching Rory and the boys work...:)
