I just want to share some inside information from Leicester since we are talking about data.
I had a professor at my university in scandinavia who also worked their with a apparatus whey hook to players see stress level and thoes sort if things. Its a lot we can do to prevent injury that we likely are not doing other team do. United should and hopefully become on top of sports innovation.

Just now i saw a tweet from Romano that Bayern's recruitment director has resigned after 10 years from his post; there are no links with united yet but as INEOS is working Very silently and swiftly maybe there's a chance. Let's see.
I would be very very happy with this. Bayern spend extremely well and have very few signings that failed at the club in the last decade.
That would do quite nicely but it must be of some concern that recent transfers haven't done well at the club such as Mané and even Hernandez has struggled to pay off his big transfer. Pavard hasn't done well like Gotze or Hummels in paying back on their investments. Alaba left for Madrid on a low fee or free from what I remember but getting the Kane and Sane deals done were major coes.
There should be a hell lot of scouts coming in!!!

After many many years of neglect & promoting people from within the club that had zero clue how to run the club we've finally appointed someone from outside the club who is actually one of the best in his position. INEOS really arent messing about regarding building a proper footballing structure within the club. No one expected us to appoint Omar Berrada.

Looks very promising. But can someone explain what a person in a particular role exactly does. We are looking for a head of recruitment and a sporting director. How different is that? Like all United fans, I am really concerned about the person in-charge who will be responsible for scouting and finding out talented players at a good price. We can't have those Pogba, Sancho, Alexis Sanchez types of signings again. Also, the way we signed Omar Berrada needs to be replicated in our player transfers. We scout almost every player and are linked to everyone, just to panic sign a different player altogether. I fear that the summer window will also be a bit too soon to see the actual change in strategy of player transfers.
You should understand that Sam doesn't have a clue about company activities and organization structure. Besides, he doesn't know that structure serves purpose (strategic objective). Also he doesn't realize that job responsibility brings a task as you correctly state. In short, this presentation adds more to the confusion than it clarifies.
Basically any companies must organize activities to be effective. Any small or big company is basically confronted with the same number of activities, such as:
# primary activities: marketing, operations, finance.
# supporting activities: management, strategy, legal, audit, HR, back office and technology.
Thus, if these 10 activities are not mentioned and related we can conclude that the organization structure is not effective.
Another issue is that it's useless to talk management if the basic remedy process is not clear, such as: problem definition, strategy, plan of action (including time line) and strategic objective. There is nothing to assess.
Sam is talking in the air, without beginning (problem definition) and end (strategic objective).
Sam is a nice guy and got a nice contribution in football games. That's it. Management assessment should be executed by a competent (education and experience) professional. This is Mickey Mouse.

It does make sense to do it this way (for the club), to start at the top and work their way down when bringing in new people, because every new person that comes in will have ideas and recommendations for how they want to set things up, and who they may or may not want to work with.
And then in the end everybody is happy.
It seems much cleaner this way.
As opposed to starting at the bottom; because then the higher up people that get hired afterwards might have their own ideas that clash with the people below them.

it's nice to see utd making some changes and it is the right sort of moves.... BUT its gonna take a hell of a long time for utd to get something going again. the reality is sir jim just doesn't have the money or clout to turn this around over night. 300m is set aside for stadium refurbishment... in reality that's like spending 5k on your whole bathroom.. ur gonna get something very basic. we don't have a choice but to back this and hope it works eventually. People are underestimating the just the amount of damage and money taken put by the glazers.
