The play looks easier than it is to people cuz it requires aim mechanics most people dont even realize need to be learned yet.

@@warguy6474 Generally, pp farm is easy to aim jumps that are overweighted. These are not even close to easy to aim jumps. These jumps are insanely hard. Doesn't matter that it's 30 seconds. The precision aim required for it is nuts.

2:41 these are sharp angle jumps, not wide angle jumps. The wider angle jumps in this mapset are the squares in the top diff. Taeyang's diff wouldn't have been majorly buffed in the wide angle rework while the top diff was

I mean not really, he said himself he memorizes ar 11. so consider the map is very short and he already is somewhat close to fully memorizing it, if he really wanted pp record it would be obvious what to do.
no, a literal day before thanksgiving me and a few other people were in a vc with him discussing the map. A couple of us brang up what if he 3 modded it or 4 modded it and he said he would try. he did try

Great video but as someone said, when talking about wide angle jumps you actually kinda showed the opposite
i personally think a great solution to flashlight would be if it stopped giving higher PP, BUT it still would give the score bonus, so people would use this mode only when they want to be #1 on a map they love. i think it would be fair, because osu!, as far as i know, wasn't supposed to be a memorizing game... i can see how to some people FL can be impressive, but i think it's rather the amount of effort put into play is impressive more than the skill required (i tried myself memorizing 1 map, and IMO it is just too easy to gain A LOT of pp without much skill required :/)
@@Evernight1 it was kira kira days 4,98*(before mods) mostly jumps and some bursts, which for me is really high stars and i just wanted to see how much i would get (also i just like this map). i said "i can see how to some people FL can be impressive" and i respect that. just for me (and probably many more) more impressive is to be very consistant and be able to play pretty much every hard map there is, than only few maps(even if harder), but with FL. ALSO i stll think his play is very impressive and cool. just that 700 retries and less than 30seconds play is what i don't like.
and i didn't actually FC the map. >IMO< i'd rather have a 4,5* high acc, 2 mins casual FC in my topplays than fully memorised 4,8* play with over 300 retries. i feel like it's just worse.
this is a fair point but if we’re going to be talking about about what kind of game osu is supposed to be, then we should change pp based on combo to an acc based pp system as well

you do realized that one of the reason fl is hard is because of memory and missreading the case with badeu's pp record is that there is no slider the cs being small enough that it just barely fits the flashlight circle also the map is short enough that you can retry spam it and easily memorize it
still aim wise its definetly one of the best plays

what the hell does "Unstable rate", "dc.ur" or "OD"?????
unstable rate is the consistency of the timing of your hits. the lower the number the better, but i'd say anything under 100 is impressive. you can sort of tell where the unstable rate comes from by looking at the hit error graph at the bottom of your screen while playing. think of unstable rate as the standard deviation of the hit errors in milliseconds multiplied by 10. a lot of people just say ur instead of unstable rate.
im unsure of what dc ur is but im going to assume you meant cv ur which stands for "converted unstable rate" which is the same thing as before but scaled with double time or half time. if you use double time then you divide the unstable rate by 1.5, and for half time you multiply the unstable rate by 1.33.
OD stands for overall difficulty and is basically how difficult it is to achieve high accuracy on a map. it ranges from 0 to 10 and the higher will require more accuracy and precision, basically shortens the hit window for getting a score of 300 when clicking a circle.
